A family party!! How long had it been? At least ten days, that was as much as she had bothered to count on her fingers anyway! Rui was zooming this way and that in her and Lilian's modest apartment, throwing confetti all over their couch and getting drinks and bowls of mixed snacks ready for when everyone arrived. Lilian was going to be here, Sho was going to be here and perhaps most excitingly for Rui, Callisto was going to be here too! It wasn't that she disliked her other brothers not at all! But with how good she was at getting herself into trouble, she practically saw Sho what felt like every other day because he needed to rescue her from herself. Lilian she already lived with too. Callisto on the other hand... How long had it been since she last saw him... AT LEAST like, ten days + ten days.. It was a lot!!

Getting a little step stool, Rui put it in front of their wine closet fishing out one of the bottles they had been saving for a while now. Did the others like red wine? Maybe!! She certainly did! Putting the bottle on the dining table, she ran over to the entrance and looked up at the banner she had put up.

''WALCOM HOEM''

''It's totes beautiful.'' She snapped a picture on her phone, bragging rights for later!! Now all she had to do was wait for the whole party to arrive.

Rui watched with wide eyes as he took the drink, eagerly waiting for him to fall for her little scheme. Was he able to tell that it was poisoned? Surely not! A cute woman had just handed him a drink and why would she deliberately try to poison him? She grinned when he downed it without question, the music thumping through her as she was eager to reveal why she had even tried to do this in the first place. ''No waay ~ it's always genes.'' She crossed her arms across her chest. She was just about to unravel her skin and use her quirk when Elias walked over to one of his guards. Wait, that wasn't in the script. Was he going to kick her out for poisoning him?

While an observant eye might notice the thread, Rui was far too busy trying to make out what they were whispering. Not that she could given the music in this club was loud and she wasn't moving from her spot. When he walked back she looked up at him. Was there something she needed? YES!! She had wanted to show off her quirk to establish how cool and valuable she was, but Elias looked just fine now, how did he do it? Was he immune to poison?? ''How did you do that?'' She turned to look back at the guard, then back to Elias. ''I totes poisoned you, but you're okay. How?'' She would try giving his hand a poke with her finger. ''But never mind that!'' Dang. Maybe she could start a fight and get someone to stab him, that way she could heal him after, something like that... She turned to look back up at Sonya as she approached. ''That's not true! My bestie here just needed some cheering up so I totes got him the yummiest drink they sell!'' The fact that he said he was the owner went right over her head. ''Yes! What brings you to this club?'' The fact that she hadn't been dragged out by security yet intrigued her. Maybe something fun would happen if she stayed around at this club?

The vampires comment from Elias made her giggle. ''Bomb bestie!'' She raised her arms above her head when Retsu entered the scene. So many interesting people all gathered in one place, she couldn't have asked for a better night! Well, maybe only if she had actually been able to use her quirk on Elias. That way he would have been totes impressed and think she was super cool! She grinned as she was asked for an introduction, spinning around on one foot. ''I'm Ruuuui-'' She stopped and posed with a finger pointed up at the ceiling. ''-Matsui! This establishment is totes to my liking tall bestie! I literally come here every day when it's open 25/8!'' She smiled at Elias. ''I know you.'' She pointed at Retsu, then over at Sonya. ''But I don't know you.''

''Do you think she's really a villain?'' One of the guards asked the other nervously. ''Of course not you idiot! What kind of villain just comes out and says they're a villain?'' He gestured to Rui who was still trying to speak, but muffled by the cloth. ''Besides, look at her. You think a tiny woman like her could be a villain? Let me ask you this, if she was a villain, and a strong one at that, why didn't she use her quirk to attack us? Obviously because she's lying, right?''

''Right...''

''Right, so stop worrying so much and wait for the boss's orders.''

Then the loud explosion caused by Retsu went off.

''What the hell was that?''

''We're under attack. Stay here, I'm checking it out.''

''What? You can't just leave me alone with- man...'' The other guard groaned as his friend ran off in the direction of the next C4 explosion. The other guard looked back at Rui who just shrugged at him. ''Mrp mrp.'' As more and more commotion began to stir around them, Rui was getting excited about the possibility of escaping in the chaos. Maybe her siblings had come to save her? Or maybe it was her Bomb Bestie judging by the bombs? In any case, Sho knew her location so sooner or later her big bro would come. Still, that didn't make being a hostage any less boring, and so she began to rattle the chains of her handcuffs loudly as she rocked back and forth in her seat. ''Stop that. Stop it!''

''Mm mm!'' She giggled, shaking her head.

Her eyes widened a bit at the hellvoid energy, or whatever energy it was. It wasn't something Rui had ever seen before, but maybe Lylyth used it when she fought people? Exciting prospect! So long as she didn't point it at Rui herself of course. ''A queen? Nice to meet you Queen Bestie!'' She made sure to keep her hands up where Lylyth could see them so she knew Rui wasn't trying to pull anything. She couldn't help but smile too when Lylyth did. What a relief! That probably meant she wasn't getting attacked today.

''I know riiiight? Why do they get to make all the rules anyway? How is that fair?'' She crossed her arms, disgusted by the idea that humans could dictate every little thing about daily life and make her and her queen bestie Lylyth look bad just because of some horns or wings! ''Totes great fam! Who do you usually fight, is it people? A wild bear maybe?'' She looked around as if she was hoping to see the answer then and there. ''I'm not really a fighter myself,'' she smiled, ''but my quirk can help you. Do you have any old wounds? Any muscle aches or soreness in your shoulders?'' She tilted her head to one side. ''I'll show you my power, since you're my bestie! Free of charge!''

Rui heard Lylyana approaching just as she stood up in her full might with her wings flexed. ''Waaah!'' She screamed, taking a step back. ''You're huge!'' Everything from the mutations, to the way she spoke and her snarl, was this the fabled demon of the forest? Could she really have been so lucky to find her here, so soon? Fantastic! Now she just needed to befriend her... Somehow. Even though Rui knew she had a durable quirk, she wasn't exactly keen on receiving a beatdown from Lylyana. Yeah, she definitely wanted to avoid that if she could.

''Are you the demon? I totes came looking for you! I've heard the rumors and I was like, oh my gosh! I like totes have to see them for myself, you know?'' The initial startled fear quickly changed into excitement as Rui did her best to come across as friendly. ''My intentions are pretty simple!'' She put her hands together, as if in prayer and sat down on her knees. ''I'm a healer! I want to see how the legendary demon fights, do you have a name, by the way?'' She put her hands down, grinning as she pointed to herself. ''I'm Rui! But the city says I'm a villain or something and when they talk about that I totes go by 'Mummy', like the Egyptian monster.'' She shrugged, putting a finger up to her temple as she twirled it around. ''Humans are crazy, don't you think? They say the dumbest things and they don't even care about people like us.'' She was making an awful lot of assumptions, but Rui's best friend making tactic had always been to talk and never shut up.

''Yeah, yeah! Do that thing Bakubestie!'' She grinned, pointing at the guys as if she was trying to order Bakuretsu to rough them up. Once the crazy bomb lady got to work, Rui would eventually let go of the gun she was trying to grab so that she could put two fingers in her ears to lessen the sound of the bomb going off. All the while she was watching with a big grin on her face, clapping her hands together like a giddy child when Bakuretsu turned to face her. ''Totes enjoyed it! What a show!'' She skipped on over and scooped the gun off the ground, pressing the barrel all the way up to her eye as she stared down it, trying to figure out which end the bullets came out of.

''For real, for real?? There's more?'' She was still preoccupied with staring at the gun, but quickly tossed it aside. ''Is it a soft seat, lead the way, Bakubestie!''

Bakiri Retsu

''Riiight? It's such a big question you know. And with how busy life is out here I totes get why you wouldn't have time to think about it.'' She shrugged, carefree as can be. Her eyes widened upon seeing Retsu's manic gleam, before smiling right back at the woman, letting out a cackle as she pulled the frag grenade out. ''You're insane bestie! What an answer!'' With that, the skin on Rui's arm began to unravel itself. However, no blood or guts spilled from her arm, as Rui had none. Only her skeletal hand and forearm would be left exposed as Rui's skin wrapped around one of Retsu's arms.

Soon pulses of warm healing energy would hum and and spread through Retsu's arm to her entire body. In many ways it would feel like being enveloped by an invisible blanket. In almost record time, Rui would have healed all of Retsu's injuries, even down to random joint pains or soreness that wasn't directly related to her recent wounds.

''There she is! She's the one that has been attacking our guys!'' Another team of five armed men showed up, pointing at Rui and Retsu. Judging from their reactions they were probably here for Retsu. ''New plan,'' Rui said, looking up at the guys. ''Show me how you fight again and I won't charge you my doctoring fees.'' She pointed at the five guys, keeping her index finger pointed at them as she turned to look back at Retsu. ''I'm Mummy, by the way.'' She finally stood up at her menacing 4'9 tall, placing both hands on her hips.

''Who's the other one?''

''Who cares! Prolly an accomplice, best to kill her too.'' One of the men said as he took aim and fired five bullets into Rui, the mummy villain staggering back with each bullet that sunk into her. However, rather than fall over, all the bullet wounds healed as Rui smiled back at their armed opponents. ''Gimme that!'' She laughed, unwrapping the skin on her arm and throwing it forward like a rope to latch onto his gun. ''H-Hey let go!'' She wasn't strong enough to yank it from his hands then and there, but it would definitely keep him from shooting her new bestie. ''What are you waiting for? Kill the other one!'' The guy with the gun called out, two of his goons brandishing knives as they rushed towards Retsu.
