Seeing Farrin assume his boxing stance Lila scoffed. ''This one thinks he's a real fighter!'' Little did she know she would regret her taunt when moments later he dodged her attack and fired an adhesive round that sent her reeling from the pain. Was it even affecting her quirk. ''What the hell kinda quirk do you have? Could it be that you're...'' Her words were dripping with hate and contempt as she glared back at Farrin. There was no doubt about it. Who else could he be?
''...Surrender?'' She paused, slowly getting back up to her feet. ''Who do you think you are, coming onto our turf and making demands of us?'' With one hand she tore off her facemask, revealing a set of sharp, pearly white shark teeth underneath. ''Screw that!! Do you know how often we get a chance to cut loose like this? You hero types don't know how good you have it!''
Not only was Farrin proving troublesome for the villains, but Marlene taking Violet's attack head-on made her look like a big threat too. The Purple Madness gang were used to pushing weaklings around, but it was becoming increasingly clear that these students weren't weaklings. ''V-Violet!'' Lila looked back just in time to see her friend get blasted by Marlene's red beam. Thugs fleeing from the sidelines as the room started catching fire.
''This is bullshit!'' Lila roared, pointing a finger at Farrin. ''YOU! Why are you here? Why are so many people out to kill you? You're what- EIGHTEEN? What did you do, declare war against the yakuza?'' Then she turned to point at Zenkai while looking at Marlene. ''THAT'S A ROBOT! My quirk is electricity,'' she insisted, pointing back at herself. ''My quirk fries circuits and all that other crap they put into little machines! That thing is a robot! A useless pile of scrap and you're saying it can beat me? That it would be just fine?!'' But she wasn't done having her tantrum yet as she honed in on Marlene. ''How does someone with a quirk that destructive just appear out of nowhere? Do you realize how big you could make it if you lead a life of crime? I mean, you'll bring the whole building down at this rate!'' She gestured wildly at the ongoing fire. ''Who are you three? Are you heroes? No! You're just kids, but how are you so strong? This is bullshit! I've had it!''
Before Farrin's second concussive round could hit Lila, Violet used their quirk one last time to bring up a wall of punch to shield her. ''Lila...'' Their voice was weak. ''Tear the energy out of their bodies, for the both of us... For the gang.'' With that, Violet passed out.
Just as Lila turned to face the students again, the ground shook. It wasn't an earthquake, but something was making the ground tremble, almost like something massive was moving around just underneath the dance floor. Although she was angry, for a second Lila looked down, looking more scared than anything, but she quickly focused back on the students. ''Listen up, everyone!'' She addressed all the thugs that until now had just been sitting back on the sidelines. ''Don't hold anything back! These little shits are strong, but there's only three of them! With numbers we can overwhelm them!'' Injecting electricity into her own body, Lila significantly enhanced her speed as she dashed forward again, this time swinging her electric whip at both Marlene and Farrin in the hopes of dealing serious damage. Of course they weren't just fighting Lila anymore. Although the lower ranking members of the Purple Madness weren't as formidable, all of them were armed either with weaker quirks or weapons such as knives, crowbars and bats.
The three hero students were surrounded on all sides, completely outnumbered. What could end this Purple Madness?
Pure Purple Madness
TL;DR:
Lila is hit by the adhesive round Farrin fired, but refuses to back down. Violet is taken out by Marlene's red beam and several gang members run from one part of the room as the police station starts catching fire. Frustrated, Lila flips out on the three hero students. The ground is shaking because something is underneath the dance floor and it's seemingly scaring Lila. Lila rallies the lower ranking members of the gang as she attempts one final attack to defeat Farrin, Marlene and Zenkai for good.

Ryota's expression soured after what Lone Wolf said, as if the doppelgänger was disappointed that it had been found out so easily. Pesky humans with their pesky memories. ''Twink-looking?'' He mumbled, growing angrier as the facade began to fade and Ryota looked less and less like Kei's brother. ''Kei, we can't trust any of themn.'' He insisted as his eyes started glowing red and part of his face began to melt.
Sean let out a scream as Lone Wolf's shot hit him in the shoulder. He nearly fell over but managed to take cover behind a nearby tree. ''I remember! You always talked too much.'' He panted as parts of his face began to melt too. Looking over at his fellow doppelgängers he looked just in time to see the others fail to capture their targets. ''I-Iphi, you've killed me... This is all your fault...'' Sadako turned to blackish goo and sunk into the ground like she had never existed.
All the while, the footsteps that had been closing in on them were getting much closer.
''Shut up, Kei! Do you really trust your eyes over your own brother?!'' Ryota roared as he insisted on dragging Kei into the river, only to be met with a boulder to the face. Successfully separated from Ryota, Kei was now free to make his escape. ''Kei no... Please...'' His voice turned sad, begging Kei to stay as his whole body melted into blackish goo and mixed with the river. ''I trusted you...''
Just as Kei disappeared back into the forest, another figure emerged on the opposite side of the river. The source of the footsteps that had been chasing them all along. The hooded figure came to a screeching halt, taking a moment to catch their breath as they did a headcount of the dreamers. ''No. No, no, no, no!'' They panicked, pacing back and forth. ''Why are you over there? Did someone tell you to run away from me?'' In a surprising twist of fate, the hooded figure was carrying an oversized golden key on their back. ''I need you to have this, you need to take this and get out of here!'' Hands sprouted out of the ground around the hooded figure and began dragging them down into the soil like they were caught in a pit of quicksand. ''W-Wait!! You have to go get your friend! Don't let her divide you, that's what she wants! She wants you to give in, but you can't let her!'' Just as suddenly as the key holder had appeared they vanished into the ground along with the golden key.
Sean, who had his hands pointed in the direction of the key holder had snuck out of his cover and directed the hands to swallow them. ''Unlike last time when I shot you.'' He turned to look at Lone Wolf with a half-melted grin. ''This time, you won't be able to escape.''
Meanwhile, as Kei moved ahead to the next area trees and forest slowly became a cornfield, which became an amusement park. Hands and arms were manning the ticket stands, the snack booths, and were even acting as customers as they queued up in an orderly fashion to go on one of the many rides. The arms acknowledged Kei's presence, but none of them seemed to react aggressively towards him. Off in the outskirts of the amusement park a castle sat all alone. Microphone feedback kicked in as speakers placed around the park came to life. The voice on the speakers was Kei's very own. ''This thing's just tellin' us to move. We gotta go! Please.'' He said, ''Yaoyao's with me somehow?'' Golden arrows littered the ground, flashing on set intervals, all pointing towards the castle as if Kei was the character in a video game being pointed in the right direction to progress the game.
The Forest of Many Arms
TL;DR:
Ryota and Sadako are both killed by Kei and Iphigenia respectively. Sean is wounded from Lone Wolf's shot, but takes cover. The footsteps that had been chasing the dreamers was the golden key holder all along. They tell Iphi and Lone Wolf to follow Kei and to not get separated since that is what ''she'' wants. The key holder is then swallowed by the ground because of Sean, who taunts Lone Wolf. Kei running ahead arrives at an amusement park full of docile hands and arms. His own voice using things he has said within the dreamscape talks over the speakers, tempting him to come closer.

Paars felt his whole body tense up as the stun round hit him in the back and his balloon popped, freeing a number of would-be hostages. Thankfully none of them were hurt in the fall as Marlene and Zenkai were more than ready to catch them. The villain almost fell over then and there, but caught himself and looked back at the trio of hero students with disdain. ''Who are you to-'' Before he could retaliate he found himself on the receiving end of a much deserved beating that would leave him out cold for the moment. Since Paars used to be a transformation quirk user before the quirk swap, it was safe to assume he wasn't actually all that strong on his own.
The streets were quiet then. Besides the trio's conversation and the loud, but suppressed music coming from within the police station there was nothing else going on. Then, there was a loud thud. Like something heavy slamming against something big. Then another.
THUD.
THUD.
THUD.
Cracks were forming in the outermost wall of the police station and with a final thud it shattered and crumbled, leaving the music to blast into the night air and the blinding lights to shine through the settling dust. What's more, a thick, purple substance had flooded onto the ground and already surrounded the trio, covering the whole street in an ankle deep layer of what smelled like punch. The purple substance held onto their ankles, but it didn't particularly hurt. That didn't seem to be the purpose of this attack. As if they had been put on an escalator, the trio found themselves being pulled right into the villain party and onto the dance floor alongside Paars's unconscious body.
''Violet! Are you insane?'' Lila hissed, drawing a sword from its scabbard as she approached her fellow gang member. The hooded figure Violet, who was standing by a giant punch bowl raised their hand. ''There's heroes outside and you didn't tell me? This party needed some more violence and look!'' They pointed at Paars. ''They beat up our guy!'' Lila who was initially going to scold her ally turned her burning rage towards the hero students. By now the purple substance that had held them down would have receded into the punch bowl next to Violet.
''You did this?!'' Lila pointed her sword at Paars, before pointing it at either of the students, making sure to keep a safe distance. ''I don't recognize any of you, you can't be famous heroes.'' She concluded from a quick once-over as she paced back and forth. ''Hang on a second.'' She stopped in her track. ''Where's Myling?'' She demanded.
''Myling's gone...'' Violet added, which only made Lila angrier.
''Let's ask questions after we're done tearing the energy out of their puny vessels!'' Lila cackled, holding a hand up to her sword causing electricity to spark and extend the range of her weapon, effectively turning it into an electric quirk whip. With frightening speed she turned the whip on the students, lashing out at Farrin and Zenkai. Meanwhile, a giant, purple punch arm emerged from the punch bowl, directed by Violet who used their quirk to try and flatten Marlene with one quick, giant slap.
Pure Purple Madness
TL;DR:
Paars is taken out in the surprise attack, but before the students can discuss their plans further one of the Purple Madness gang members, Violet, uses their quirk to force the students into the police station/night club. Here they are confronted with Lila and Violet, who immediately go on the attack. Lila uses her quirk to turn her sword into an electric whip and lashes out at Farrin and Zenkai, while Violet uses their punch-control quirk to create a giant purple arm from the punch bowl, which they then direct at Marlene to try and flatten her.

Fear soon filled Sean's eyes, and as soon as Mark pointed his gun at him and made demands he raised his arms above his head. ''Hey, hey, hey easy! Calm down!'' His voice was trembling with fear, but that didn't stop him from airing his frustrations. ''Happy to see you too, 'bro'! Listen, I don't like this anymore than you do, but we're trapped in this shithole too!'' Sean's eyes scanned the other unfamiliar faces for a trace of sympathy. Unfortunately he couldn't have predicted the strong reaction Iphi had and was sent flying a few feet back when her Blackwhip lashed out against him. Groaning weakly in the side he slowly got back up to his knees. ''It wasn't me, I didn't do anything...'' When Iphigenia tried to get a response out of Sadako she was met with silence.
''That's wonderful Kei! I'm so glad you're okay. Yeah, I'm trying to help the others. There's a lot of people stuck in this river.'' Ryota smiled, side-eyeing Lone Wolf when he got inbetween him and his brother. ''Real? You don't trust me, Lone Wolf? We've worked together for years, of course I'm real. You're right to not trust these people, Kei.'' He crossed his arms and looked at his brother.
With a gasp Sadako finally woke up, coughing up bits of multi-colored river water onto the sand. ''Iphigenia... Everyone...'' She opened her eyes which were glowing an unnaturally vibrant shade of red. Sprouting out of her shoulder, a hand just like those from the forest lunged out at Iphi to try and grab her by the throat. At the same time, Sean's eyes began to glow the same shade of red. ''Should've killed me while you had the chance, Mark Browning.'' He hissed, holding out the palm of his hand to conjure up more disembodied hands that crawled along the sand like bloodthirsty spiders, little drones that were all beelining for Lone Wolf to try and overwhelm him.
''Kei!'' Ryota grabbed Kei by the shoulder and tugged. His eyes weren't red and he looked scared. ''We need to get out of here. The river is the only way!'' He urged Kei to follow him as he tried to drag him into the water.
''This really confirms it!'' Sadako cackled, staring at Iphi with an intense hatred. ''There isn't a single genius among you! You humans, you care so much about your own kind. Would you die for them? Then submit!!'' More flailing arms started to grow out of Sadako's body, all trying to grapple Iphi.
The Forest of Many Arms
TL;DR:
Sean fears for his life and sticks his hands up when Lone Wolf aims at him. He insists that he is real and just trying to help Sadako. Before he can, he is hit by Iphi's Black Whip and send flying a few feet. Ryota also insists that he is real and backs up Kei's suspicion of Lone Wolf and Iphigenia's identities. Sadako finally wakes up, her eyes glowing red and arms growing out of her body to try and strangle Iphi. Sean's eyes also glow red at this point as he summons hand-spiders from within himself and send an army of them after Lone Wolf trying to overwhelm him. Keibo is confident in herself and her abilities, but also aware of what she is and isn't capable of. She is quick to decide on the best course of action in many given situations and, while she rarely hesitates, she also doesn't rush into situations that she isn't confident that she can handle. She won't jump from one building to another unless she's 100% sure she can make the jump. Keibo is taller than most other females, though no giant by any means. Despite her considerable physical capabilities, she is rather thin in stature. Katherine Smithgall was much sought after by the world's hero community. Her quirk allowed her to increase the speed of anyone's healing factor, allowing heroes who got injured to recover in no time flat. She sold her skill to the highest bidders, helping many heroes rise in the rankings of their country. She came to Japan for one of those jobs: a man named Kaito Kitoushi had hired her. He was a low level hero, with significant familial wealth, and wanted to increase his ranking quickly. As fate would have it, Kaito and Katherine fell in love, married and had, at least, one child: Keibo Kitoushi.
Keibo inherited her mother's quirk, Wellspring, but wanted to be a hero like her father. Kaito wasn't keen on his daughter trying to follow in his footsteps, especially since her quirk just allowed her to heal people. As a compromise, Kaito agreed to hire trainers to help Keibo become more physically capable and teach her some fighting skills. He figured, if nothing else, it would allow her to defend herself some day if she failed to become a hero. Through the rigorous training though, Keibo and Kaito realized that Keibo's quirk had more facets to it than Katherine had ever realized. Keibo seemed to be able to train nonstop for hours without resting. Even then, she showed no signs of soreness the following day.
In school, Keibo found herself drawn to Toshiyuki Hayato and Shinto Takedo. Both had voiced their desire to become heroes, just like Keibo, but more than that, they had skills that Keibo was jealous of. Toshiyuki could teleport and seemed to just know when things would happen while Shinto could toss houses like they were baseballs. She knew that these two had the potential to become heroes and saw them as rivals. She wanted to be near them as motivation to work hard and not settle for "good enough". And as if those weren't reason enough to spend time with them, they were both pretty good with people which allowed Keibo to kind of hide in their shadows. She wasn't shy or introverted, per se, but she didn't feel the need to make friends with other children that were beneath her.
Eventually, the rivalry that existed in Keibo's mind became more of a friendship. Then all three of them enrolled at UA with her friends and continued the personal instruction with the trainers that her father had hired for her. He had even hired manufacturers to create equipment for her, most notable her Slice of Life sword. She loved the weapon as it allowed her to control the environment around her without worrying about hurting people. Keibo is confident that if she keeps working hard, she'll eventually make it as a hero.

Through the combined efforts of the dreamers, Iphigenia managed to escape the clutches of the larger hand, but distant footsteps were still fast approaching. Between witnessing the terrifying powers of Mark and Iphi, the hill looked at Kei and his shadow claws with solemn eyes. ''Please, don't... You need to go.''
The river bubbled and shifted, uneasy and volatile, what might happen to those who dared touch it, or worse fell in? Whether the others accepted Kei's offer to help go across, found a way to cross on their own, or simply remained on the other side, the instant the first person crossed something started to happen.
A man emerged from the strong currents on the other side of the river next to Kei. To most of the dreamers he was just another unfamiliar face, but the unconscious woman he was dragging out of the waters wasn't. It was none other than Sadako Gotoh, the UAU student counselor. The man was gasping for air, almost about to collapse from exhaustion when he looked up and jumped at the sight of Kei. To Mark Browning, this man was the splitting image of his younger brother, Sean.
''Who are you?'' He asked Kei, still catching his breath. Looking around at the others his eyes settled on Mark. ''..Brother?'' He asked carefully, unable to believe what he was seeing. However, he quickly snapped out of it, looking to Iphi specifically. ''You have to help me, this woman- she's not breathing!''
The waters stirred once more as a figure wearing a diving suit, old school helmet and all walked onto the riverbank. They turned to face the group before unscrewing the helmet, revealing the hero Vox, or as Kei better knew him, Ryota Hada underneath. ''Kei, pull yourself together! Now's hardly the time to be standing around.'' He flashed a winning smile, tossing the helmet aside. ''I'm glad to see you're okay. This whole thing is a mess.'' He reached out to try and give his brother a pat on the shoulder.
It was them. There was no mistake these were people they knew, but how? Could they really be trusted?
The Forest of Many Arms
TL;DR:
Making it across the river one way or another the dreamers are greeted by an unexpected sight. Mark's long lost brother Sean is helping drag an unconscious Sadako out of the river in an attempt to save her, while Ryota Hada wearing a diving suit comes out of the water shortly after. Sean pleads for help to save Sadako while Ryota tries to cheer Kei up.

''Holy shit.'' Myling blurted out at the sight of seeing them fight the regular mooks that had followed him. If only he had went in with these three maybe he wouldn't have been stabbed and forced to retreat. ''Okay, okay.'' He said, psyching himself up. ''I'm gonna call for reinforcements and stop the bleeding. I'll give them your names I just need to-'' He froze up when the balloon guy appeared.
''Good, good! Knew I could trust you!'' The balloon guy, Paars, cackled loudly when Farrin told him he could trust them all. ''Hmm? Them as in the hostages? Naaaah, I mean it sucks if someone breaks the balloon, but it's not like anything's gonna wake these people up, right? I just make the balloon again, right? But I totally get you, this is why I miss my transformation quirk man, no weaknesses, it's the best type of quirk.'' In the moment that Paars looked away as he was talking to the students, Myling activated his borrowed quirk and teleported away a short distance, presumably to safety.
''-Hey, where'd that guy go, wasn't there another?'' Paars pointed down at where Myling used to be. ''Well, whatever.'' He shrugged, motioning for them to follow him as he started walking towards the entrance. ''I've got hostages to deliver, wanna come back inside?'' Clueless as ever, Paars turned his back to the trio, giving them several options. Follow him inside, or strike while his guard was down and crash the party after? Either way the minutes were counting down fast.
Their lives are in your hands.
Pure Purple Madness
TL;DR:
After everyone made short work of the gang members Paars arrives. He answers Farrin's question, confirming that it is save to pop the balloon. However, he isn't scared about anyone doing that because the hostages are asleep anyway. While Paars is distracted Myling manages to teleport himself away to a place where he can safely call for help. Paars suggests the three students follow him inside and turns his back to them, giving them an opportunity and advantage on what they want to do next.

Iphi effortlessly managed to get away from the smaller hands below, but the large hand she was headed towards would immediately attempt to grapple her. Like mindless zombies, more hands attacked Mark, Meika and Kei, but thanks to the combined efforts of their new powers they managed to repel them for now. Like wild animals fearing fire, they recoiled from Mark and Kei, watching and swaying from a distance.
Whether Iphi managed to fight her way out of the hand or got help, a deeper voice eventually spoke up.
''Alice? Does that mean...'' The voice came from behind Kei as two, gargantuan glowing eyeballs appeared in the hillside. The hill stared at them all for a moment, taking it all in as it uttered a foreboding sigh. ''Oh no, you're the next ones.'' Its eyes were so big that it made wet noises whenever it blinked. ''You can't let the creature of the forest see you here.'' The hill's voice was slow and booming, but there was a sense of urgency to it. ''Don't stop moving, don't stop for anything, okay? If at least one of you can make it out...'' Hurried footsteps, fast approaching from the side opposite of where the dreamers were headed urged them onward. The hill looked in their direction, fear washing over it. ''Please.. Go. We are not welcome here.''
The path heading out of the clearing was sloped, but there were far less hands to bother them, although that might be because they just hadn't woken up yet. The sounds of rapid water filled the air, alerting the dreamers to what came next, their path was blocked by a river. The water rushing through it looked otherworldly, changing colors on a whim with bubbles, some smaller than an eyeball and others bigger than a car, rising out of it. Within seconds of first laying eyes on it, the river distorted and changed shape in the blink of an eye. What was its true form and where was it safe to step? Was the water toxic, or completely harmless? The sound of distant footsteps closing in urged the dreamers to push on.
The Forest of Many Arms
TL;DR:
Everyone manages to escape the smaller hands, but the large hand attempts to grapple Iphi. The commotion wakes up a hill which might be a former victim of the forest. It urges them all to keep moving. The path ahead leads to a river with some funky colors which seems to distort and change shape in the blink of an eye, making it difficult to see where land ends and water begins. Will everyone cross safely?

OOC: Welcome to Dream World Part 2! First of all thank you for signing up!! I'm so excited to tell this story with you all! Remember you have to post at least ONCE per round, but you can skip one round if you have to. A second skip will result in no tokens being given. Additionally, if you want to plan a cool character moment ahead of time, like making a heroic sacrifice or setting up a team attack, but want to keep it a surprise to the other people in the thread until it happens, feel free to sneak into my DMs so we can plan out the details! This is not mandatory, but I want to make sure every character shines and looks their best during this thread!

Myling would have smiled if he wasn't in so much pain. ''I'll be okay, but the civilians..'' He barely got another word out before the thugs loud yelling and shouting drowned out his voice. ''What the?!'' The man who had fired the gun could barely believe his own eyes as the bullets slowed to a crawl, and the one that hit Marlene with a pipe and barely put a dent in her was damn near ready to drop his weapon out of fear. The gang members had been shook to their core, the gunner quickly turning tail to run back inside the night club while his comrades were beaten in a matter of seconds. Contrary to the purple people, Myling was put at ease seeing how capable they were. ''I'll radio for help, uh, backup.'' He winced, reaching for a communication device. ''Before you go in there, what are your names? The Heroes Association might want to know.'' He looked at the three expectantly.
Inside the club, the gunner that got away immediately ran up to a masked woman who was in the middle of conversation. ''Lila, Lila! The hero is getting away!'' He was panting, pointing towards the front door, but before he could say anymore she grabbed him by the throat and slammed him up against the wall. ''What did I tell you, rookie?'' Her voice was dripping with hate, purple electricity crackling from her fingertips, but before she could do anything he stammered out a reply.
''Th-That only in em-emergencies...''
''ONLY IN EMERGENCIES!!'' She roared back. ''Is it an emergency?''
''The hero he isn't alone-''
''So? Who's with him? You think anyone can stand up to us? They're all taking a nap right now and by the time they wake up we'll be ruling this damn city. Unless we got Starling Soul knocking on our door we don't have any emergencies here!'' She tossed him onto the floor where he finally gasped for air, leaving him with one last reprimand before he scurried away. ''And watch your heavy footsteps! You're gonna wake up the boss.''
Meanwhile outside the club, a tall, slender man with a crazy head of hair carrying a big balloon on a string in one hand strolled right past the hero student trio and Myling. ''Man I can't believe I've been relegated to this, I used to have a transformation quirk, I used to be someone...'' He sulked, only putting on a smile when he passed them. ''Yo! What's up? Are you the new members? I'm Paars.'' He looked at Myling and the rest of the downed gang members and then laughed. ''Don't go too hard on each other! Save it for the after party! Hey, check this out.'' He stepped aside to allow them to look into his balloon. Upon further inspection the students would find that there was unconscious people inside it. ''Pretty cool, right? Since my quirk got swapped out for this balloon one they put me in charge of getting more sacrifices.'' He tried to lean on Zenkai's shoulder, still smiling, but upon realizing that the balloon was the wrong color he quickly tried to save face with who he still perceived to be new recruits. ''Hey just don't tell the boss it's not purple, yeah? I like red too, but man why do we have to wear so much purple? Just kidding! You totally get used to it.''
 Pure Purple Madness TL;DR: The hero team makes short work of the gang members, one escapes inside the police station/night club to try and warn the others. Myling promises the students he will radio for reinforcements and asks them for their names. Meanwhile, a man carrying human hostages in a big balloon walks up to the hero students and greets them thinking they are new gang members. —--------------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: Welcome to Dream World Part 2!
