[b]Short-Tempered: [/b]Due to his inability to properly express his emotions, Echiiro is known to have a relatively short temper. His father taught him that emotions are a sign of weakness and should be eliminated. For that reason, Echiiro has a bad habit of ignoring his emotions and bottling them up. When angered, Echiiro is known to yell, insult, and curse at whomever or whatever he is made at. Sometimes he even activates his quirk in a threatening manner but never assaults someone unless provoked. Because of this, Echiiro has gained the reputation of being “crude, violent, and too aggressive” and often has a bad reputation among his peers.
[b]Oddly-Honorable:[/b] While Echiiro is a bit of a bully, he does have a sense of honor. For one, Echiiro values truth, honesty, and hard work above anything else. His willingness and admiration for the truth often make Echiiro a bit brash or overly critical. He isn’t the type of person who is afraid of speaking his mind and will do so, no matter the feeling or delicacy of the situation. While this makes Echiiro a relatively trustworthy person, many people, in his opinion, cannot handle the truth. Echiiro has even been known to refuse victories that were obtained through the usage of foul play.
[b]Over-Confident:[/b] Growing up, Echiiro was taught that “a person's quirk determines their position in the world” and that, basically, a powerful quirk makes you better than everyone else. In that light, Echiiro grew up hearing about how strong his quirk is from both his family and friends, and thus, that admittedly has given him a big head. His arrogance and over-confidence often lead him to take action without considering the opinion of others– something that is also reflective of his solitary nature. He also has a bad habit of ignoring, mocking, or taunting those he deems weaker. Believing that he “shouldn’t be associated with squirts with weak quirks.”
[b]Secret-Softy:[/b] While Echiiro can be a bit of a bully at times, he’s actually secretly a sweetheart or at least, he can be. Due to how he was raised, Echiiro doesn’t really know how to be nice without first being an asshole. Like for example, if he wants to do something nice, he usually does it either “as a favor” or while also criticizing you along the way. Likewise, he is incredibly protective and hates seeing people get physically hurt, well, so long as they are not buttholes. Often, being overly critical is his way of “being nice” because it allows for that person to improve and whatnot. He’s also weirdly emotional, and his mother once noted that he “feels too deeply.”

Echiiro has been described by fellow peers and other people as being “really attractive, if not downright hot.” One student who had a crush on him in primary school noted that “for some reason, Echiiro just gives off dangerous bad boy vibes”. Needless to say, he was very popular in primary school due to his good looks. Currently, Echiiro is relatively tall, standing around six foot three and weighing close to two hundred and seven pounds. Due to his father’s training and strict exercise routine, Echiiro has a well-sculpted physique– reminiscent of the physique seen on the statue of Greek gods. He has relatively tan skin due to being and training outside, medium-length black hair, and deep brown eyes. His attire varies from occasion to occasion, usually consisting of button-up shirts, boots, and pants of varying colors.

Life sucks, then you die. That was the lesson Echiiro learned growing up– one taught through a poor draw in life. Echiiro father’s dreamt of being famous but, unfortunately, did not hold any talent or quirk that would lead to such fame. Therefore, Echiiro's father planned to marry someone with a powerful or potential quirk to create strong kids. He placed his sights on a member of the Panya family, one who, in his eyes, led to kids with powerful quirks.
Admittedly, Echiiro’s father was a bit too heavy-handed when it came to discipline—that was especially true when it came to Echiiro. Growing up, Echiiro was an emotional kid, and well, unfortunately, his father didn’t like that about him. In his father’s opinion, men weren’t supposed to be emotional- after all, emotion was a weakness. Echiiro’s household was often the host of many arguments between his mother and father about how he should be raised, arguments that increasingly got physical. From these arguments and fights, Echiiro learned two or three things about his life. One that he was a failure, two that life sucked, and three it was pointless.
He only really found comfort in comics, mangas, and his grandparents.
Echiiro’s father raised him to become a hero. As soon as he could walk, Echiiro father started to train him. Regarding his training, Echiiro’s father was remorseless and cruel in his tactics, with his training being more like a boot camp for adults rather than kids. He barely had any time to be a kid, and for that reason, did not really have a good relationship with his siblings. Occasionally, his father would get busy, and his grandfather would take care of him– the time he spent with his grandfather was actually one of the few moments he got to be a kid.
Echiiro was a troublemaker in school. There were multiple times he got in trouble for bullying other students, especially students with quirks he “deemed useless.” And when he wasn’t being a bully, Echiiro got into fights with other students whose quirks he’d deemed “impressive.” One teacher even remarked that “Echiiro is a kid with a chip on his shoulder, one whose mindset revolves ‘might make right’- it’s almost like he has something to prove.” Despite his notorious reputation for being a bully, Echiiro did not get into physical fights with students who had “lesser quirks,” merely mocking, taunting, or verbally bullying them.
In one such occasion, Echiiro mocked a student who wanted to become a hero stating “Ha, don’t make me laugh! In this world on those with strong quirks can become a hero and make a change, someone with a second rate quirk likes yours would be lucky to work as a janitor!”
After an incident where he accidentally burned his mother during a training session, Echiiro’s bullying tendencies decreased slightly. The only time he got into fights was when bullies were physically hurting someone else or when someone provoked him. He mainly kept to himself but still maintained that “a person’s quirk determined their place and position within life.” Albeit with an odd and often twisted sense of chivalry. This change in attitude persisted during the entrance exam for U.A. During the exam, it was noted that Echiiro excelled in combat and that his quirk was incredibly dangerous, if not outright deadly.
That said, Echiiro was allowed entry into the hero courses at U.A. after someone saw the potential within his quirk and his “warped sense of honor.”

[/b]The user of this quirk has a specialized cellular structure that allows them to create and store a special form of energy via a unique energy-storing molecule. This energy is responsible for the production, generation, and manipulation of magma. The user can produce magma from any part of their body, with the area generating the magma becoming reddish orange like molten metal being warmed up. The magma is then expelled from the user’s skin pores, usually forcefully, like an exploding volcano. The magma can then be manipulated and controlled at will so long as it remains in contact with the user’s body. Furthermore, the user can freely increase the temperature of the magma, allowing him to surpass the temperature of normal magma by expanding the appropriate amount of energy. It should be noted that the energy provides resistance to heat (based on his constitution).
[b]QUIRK DRAWBACKS:[/b]
To manipulate and generate magma, the user must expend a unique energy created by their mutated cellular structure. Everything about this quirk requires the usage of that unique energy. Wanting to create incredibly hot magma? You need that special energy to increase the heat to above-average levels, and well, the higher the temperature, the more energy it will cost. Even the environment can impact the energy needed to utilize Living eruptions.
Currently, experiencing freezing temperatures? Soaking wet? Well, you need to expend even more energy than required– almost double or triple the cost. The less energy Echiiro the user has, the harder it becomes to control the quirk. Without the energy, the user won’t be able to produce magma, and their resistances to their own magma will cease. Meaning that not only will Echiiro be weaponless but also defenseless to his own quirk.
Furthermore, after losing his unique energy, Echiiro will become incredibly tired and weakened and thus suffer the effects of both heat exhaustion and fatigue. While he passively regains his energy, it won’t be enough to use his quirk. The only way to regain enough energy to utilize his quirk is through eating and rest. To maintain the energy levels required to use his quirk, Echiiro needs to not only eat a high-carb diet but also eat two to three times the average amount of food.
The magma is also incredibly volatile and explosive. The magma, on its own and as a natural consequence of its nature, can create smoke, start fires, and deal severe damage to the environment. Therefore, it is incredibly difficult to utilize in highly popularized areas, especially when surrounded by civilians. Even when Echiiro controls his quirk, it requires a significant amount of concentration and focus, or else; he’d risk damaging allies and individuals within the environment. Plus, Echiiro can only control the magma while in contact with his body. Once released, the magma acts like magma, retaining the temperatures that Echiiro has raised it to and causing massive damage.

[b]SKILL DESCRIPTION:[/b] An aggressive form of fighting taught to Echiiro by his father. “Pyroclastic Brawler” combines Echiiro’s quirk and various boxing styles. Built upon the philosophy of “taking a hit and delivering a bigger hit,” Echiiro commonly uses his quirk to coat his entire arm or body in molten hot magma. Then, he uses his ability to control his magma to generate massive fists/arms of magma to extend his reach. He will then use the volatile magma to deliver explosive punches or grapple his opponent with a giant magma fist and then coat them in the substance. The fighting style also encourages Echiiro to use ranged magma-based attacks and to take advantage of the explosive nature of the magma. After all, why worry about accuracy when your quirk seems to be focused on area-of-effect-based attacks?

Mafdet Khepri is whimsical, easily amused and quick to bore. Given her extreme dislike of boredom she can often be found chasing whatever new fun thing she found with little regard for whether she should. She's quick to make friends and rarely makes enemies, just temporary targets she forgets about the moment they're out of sight. The sole thing she takes seriously is her hero activities where she is aiming to specialize in search and rescue missions. Whether this is because it'll allow her to chase and find people, see new sights and have fun in different places or because she actually cares about people isn't certain and Khepri's reply to such a question changes based on the time of day, how much sleep she's had, the phase of the moon and the alignment of the planets.
While she's not the brightest bulb in the shed she makes up for it through her creativity, often finding ways around problems she can't work her way through while thinking inside of the box. As much as she loves having fun however her friends and others she holds dear always take priority for her and she's quick to come to their aid so long as she doesn't forget about the problem on the way there.
Due to not understanding a great many things Khepri's always been inquisitive, asking a great many questions and pestering anyone around for answers. For similar reasons she's grown both fond of riddles and extremely frustrated by them, an interest that intensified when she took up the name 'Sphinx' for her hero activities.
Chasing whims, pestering people and getting up to all manner of shenanigans takes a lot of energy however. As a result Khepri can often be found napping in all manner of weird places, most commonly nooks and crannies that are difficult to reach or that she straight up should not be in. As a result her sleep schedule is a fluid as best. It is half the reason she is so fond of night walks, the other half being that the night is home to no obligations, something she greatly appreciates given the many expectations the Mafdet family tended to heap on her during the day.
She has very particular tastes in fashion and a strong opinion on what she will and won't wear, mostly because a lot of clothes tend to get caught in her joints. She hates the feeling of that happening and hates it even more when the clothes inevitably tear while she's trying to get them out, a task made all the harder by her long, sharp nails.

Mafdet Khepri is tall, has shoulder-length white hair and both feline and insectoid traits. Her feline traits manifest as a pair of beige cat ears atop her head and a tail of the same color as her hair in addition to sharper teeth and sharper nails on both her hands and feet. The insectoid traits caused parts of her (endo)skeleton to be replaced by a carapace-like exoskeleton. Specifically her arms and legs (excluding hands and feet) as well as her upper torso. Additionally due to a combination of both she only had four fingers on each hand.

Born in Egypt as part of the prestigious Mafdet family Khepri grew up in luxury. Surrounded by the cult-like following her family gathered she naturally grew up believing herself capable of doing no wrong and has suffered little consequences no matter what she did. Something that has exasperated some of her worse tendencies but overall has caused little problems thus far.
Optimistic and friendly she has noticed little of the discrimination thrown her way or the scorn with which her parents are treated. Her family relies heavily on their self-proclaimed divinely bestowed traits to increase their standing so when her mother fell for a mutation quirk user with insectoid traits it did not take long for the rest of the Mafdet family to disapprove of their union. Claiming it was an affront for the descendants of the goddess of justice and protection to mix with one that so clearly had an appearance linked to destructive locust swarms or disease carrying bugs the pair was kept away from official events and met with ridicule behind closed doors. When their daughter was born they feared the worst and named her after the scarab god Khepri, most often associated with change and rebirth, to minimize the hardship she would have to face.
While not completely successful it at least resulted in the rest of the family tolerating her existence and permitting her and her parents to stay within the almost village sized compound occupied by the Mafdet and their following. Whether this is because they truly accepted her or to keep their public relations scandal-free is not something her parents are sure of nor something that Khepri herself has ever even thought of. Whatever the reason Khepri had access to the wealth of her family and her sunny personality resulted in her requests being difficult to turn down, causing her to grow up extremely spoiled, whimsical and with little appreciation for hard work, much preferring to nap the days away instead.
When she was influenced by what she saw on TV to become a hero she received encouragement from everyone around her, albeit for different reasons. Her parents hoped it would improve her morals while many among the rest of the family hoped the 'four-fingered freak' would die in action and allow them to be rid of her. To the disappointment of both even when she took part in unlicensed activities under the name 'Sphinx' neither ended up happening, her character changed little albeit she became much more energetic now that she'd found her passion and she rarely came back with so much as a scratch.
Eventually however her actions became too much to ignore and the benefits the Mafdet family gained from one of their own actively dishing out justice began to be outweighed by the fact that she was doing so without any proper authority behind her. Seeing the chance to hit three birds with one stone the Mafdets sent her off to the country of one of their biggest trade partners -Japan- to both gain an official license and keep her out of their sight, simultaneously also using her for diplomatic purposes and curbing the harm done by her vigilante behavior on home ground.
-The Mafdet Family:
With the advent of quirks came societal upheaval, leaving many off worse and a select few off better. Khepri's grandfather was amongst the lucky few that managed to improve their standing due to their quirk instead of succumbing to the negative consequences of it. Born in
Egypt and more importantly with a quirk that bestowed him with feline features he proclaimed himself a 'child of Mafdet', the ancient goddess of justice and protection. Due to a combination of his nation's ancient myths being looked to for comfort with the advent of quirks, the fascination held by the internet and the man's own charisma he quickly built up a cult-like following in those uncertain times and eventually a rather large family by the time Khepri was born.
While not a truly major player the family has used their connections to secure lucrative jobs in both political and private fields, ensuring the Mafdet family's wealth has vastly increased over the last half a century, slowly but surely increasing their influence alongside it.

Active use of her quirk allows her to briefly turn the bone plates slightly more malleable allowing more room for the muscles beneath to expand. This means that during these brief moments she is able to drastically increase the power behind a single motion. Khepri most commonly uses this to either leap a large distance or put more force behind a punch of kick.

[/b]Due to parts of her biology being covered by exoskeleton instead of containing an endoskeleton Khepri's joints are vulnerable to damage. Much like a normal endoskeleton when broken Khepri's exoskeleton can regrow stronger, however, unlike an endoskeleton that can set the bones and regrow the broken part Khepri's exoskeleton requires an entirely new plate to be grown beneath the broken one, eventually causing said plate to fall off. Once said plate has fallen off the new plate will remain soft for the next few weeks as it grows to its final size, rendering Khepri [i]extremely[/i] vulnerable to attacks against the new plate until it sets fully. Additionally, active use of her quirk during this period would have little use since the plate would be too fragile to withstand the full force of her empowered movements.

now this is an enigmatic motherfucker. pallas has been an excitable puppy of a person since the day he could talk, constantly wanting to meet new people and experience new ordeals. his enthusiasm is nearly boundless, extending to all walks of life from something as truly invigorating as combat... to something that others may find downright annoying such as filing forms or taxes. anything gets his heart roaring. [div]on the matter of goodness, pallas is also a firm believer that everything is a choice. maybe not an easy choice, or a very advantageous one, but everyone has the ability to choose to do something about their situation. this is why he loathes villains so much: he believes that they have solely chosen to do bad. while one could view this as a lack of nuance, pallas instead sees it as the easiest way to look at the situation. no one is ever forced to hurt others. they always have a choice. even with a gun to their head, they always have a choice.[/div]

born with gigantism, pallas stands at a staggering eight feet, six inches. if his figure wasn't already menacing enough, one need only look further up; curled horns spiral up from the base of his temple, as amber as his eyes in coloration. pallas also has a remarkably athletic figure, having done track and lifted weights for most of their life - which certainly helps in university, sure, but as for social interactions with new people... it's understandable why people would be frightened or startled by him on first glance.

[div]pallas adores wearing flowing clothing, citing that tight clothes can get in the way of combat. because of this, he usually wears baggy hoodies, loose pants, or similar garments that help both conceal his body and allow him more movement than traditional gear. this is extended over into his hero costume, which is designed after his father's old attire.[/div]

listen well - the story of pallas is a long one!

[div]pallas maekawa is the half-japanese, half-australian child of professional heroes raijin and flamesinger. flamesinger - an australian immigrant into the country - fell in love with raijin after the two collaborated on several cases, and it was a good love! it was a kind love. they were both good people; saviors, really! raijin's family had served japan since the onset of quirks, though their long history of heroics did not necessarily lend itself to renown and fame. rather, as they mostly worked in the countryside rather than in large cities, they were actually quite unknown! they had a motto: [i]break your chains![/i] as a testament to their strength, and perhaps an origin for now left unknown, those who would take up the mantle of 'raijin' within the family often wore heavy broken chains around their arms and legs. the raijin clan had three treasures that made up their heroic attire:

[div]1. a pair of broken chains around the arms and legs, to symbolize the strength of the maekawa family.[/div][div]2. a string of magatama beads, to symbolize the unity of the maekawa family.[/div][div]3. a traditional men-yoroi mask, to symbolize the fury of the maekawa family.

[div]and oh, they were traditional. they had used the same heroic suit design since the onset of quirks. they had never changed weapons away from their signature massive clubs. they wore traditional men-yoroi. they fought with honor, with respect, and with unending determination. oh. and their family, near exclusively, allowed [i]boys[/i] to be heroes. girls could be too, of course, but in the raijin family, only one man at a time would wear the traditional garments and utilize their family fighting style. the women could still be heroes. they just [i]couldn't be raijin[/i].[/div]
[div]and then pallas was born. [/div]
[div]his father had already slightly departed from the traditional nature of things by marrying an immigrant, something that was - while not forbidden within the family - still not looked at in the best life. this caused the rest of the raijin family to distance themselves slightly, some more than others: pallas's grandfather, for example, would never speak to nor see them, but their uncle would occasionally visit, even if he wouldn't look his nephew in the eyes.[/div]
[div]as an only child, pallas was raised with the idea of heroism and salvation rooted deep in his being. he was told about the fantastic acts of his paternal ancestors, about how they had served the world since the dawn of powers and even well before them! the key to all of this, of course, was their family quirk: an ability that had been passed down from parent to child as a dominant gene, yet would fade as the users got older as most things tended to. [/div]
[div]pallas had inherited this quirk, and practiced frequently with his father. he was already set on being a hero, even if his body didn't feel quite right. in fact, as he got older, he realized that... no, nothing about this felt right. the ideas for hero suits that his mother brought to him were too... too feminine in a way that he couldn't quite describe. the feeling ate at him. [/div]
[div]years passed in uncomfortable silence. pallas still continued to train and would do quite well academically, but something was always eating at him. the uniforms he had to wear. how people would ask him if he had a boyfriend, or if he was checking out one classmate or another. in his non-academic life, pallas regularly attended shows to watch storytellers or noh performers, gaining a great admiration for both.

[div]when he told his parents that he was indeed their son, his mother accepted him immediately. his father did as well. pallas naturally asked, then, if he would be able to claim the raijin title when he eventually became a hero. his father was unsure as to that answer. with the family already distanced from his father, pallas would have to go see about it himself. his father warned, however, that the rest of their family was quite traditional, and may not take well to pallas wanting the raijin title.

[div]when pallas asked why, his father simply replied that they may not view him as competent. he had already resigned from being raijin years ago, shortly after pallas's birth, at the demand of his grandfather - pallas's great-grandfather. the men-yoroi that had been used for years as a hereditary mask of the family was now in the hands of one of the other men in the maekawa clan, though who exactly his father couldn't say, just as the magatama beads were in the hands of someone else. all he knew was that he was bound to still be in japan. the only thing he still had were his chains that used to hang around his ankles, though he refused to give them to pallas - much to the displeasure of his wife - due to his own worries about pallas's strength and education.

[div]ever determined, pallas decreed that he would get the best education possible and meet his extended family for the raijin title only when he was certain that he could knock them out of the water with his first impression, as well as impress his father enough to get the chains from him. with that, he worked harder and harder, eventually getting into U.A university, albeit a bit later than most; he took a few years off, training with his father in the countryside in an attempt (and eventual failure) to earn his respect enough to gain his part of the maekawa chains, and taking a brief trip to australia to meet his mother's extended family.

[div][b]Tengen [/b]is a Mutation type Quirk that allows the user to (1) generate sonic shockwaves and (2) generate electricity across their body.

[div]The first aspect of Tengen is simple: When Pallas claps his hands, stomps his feet, or yells, he can generate sonic waves. These waves vary in intensity and strength depending on the method used to create them, with the strongest method typically being stomping to send sonic waves through the earth, kicking up stones and causing small quakes to throw people off balance. Pallas can direct these shockwaves somewhat well when shouting, vaguely direct them when clapping, and barely direct them when stomping. These shockwaves can also be produced by directly striking someone in combat, possibly sending them flying. This turns Pallas into a downright devastating force in combat... that is, when he can actually hit someone.

[div]The second aspect of Tengen is the generation of electricity. Pallas passively generates electricity the more excited he becomes, with higher levels of excitement correlating to a higher rise in electricity. For example, when he sees a cute dog, he generates enough electricity to make his hair stand up slightly. When he's in the throes of combat, however, the electricity he generates is enough to easily burn or shock the people or things he comes into contact with.

[div][b]DRAWBACKS[/b][/div][div][b]
[/b][/div][div]Because Tengen is a mutation, Pallas can never turn it off. The most he can do is be incredibly careful about the movements he makes and the company he keeps; if he stomps too loud on accident, he can in fact create an accidental shockwave, just as he can by shouting across the room. This has led to more than a few occasions of him calling to someone across the street and accidentally knocking them into a wall with a sonic shout, or of him bounding down the steps excitedly and causing their foundation to crack slightly thanks to his stomps.

[div]Naturally, Pallas is a double-edged sword in a fight. While he can adjust the general direction of the shockwaves he creates, he can't precisely direct them into avoiding a specific area or person. This means that, if he starts stomping during a fight to generate some shockwaves through the ground and kick up the earth, the effect's going to go in a radius around him rather than towards a specific target. Likewise, if he shouts, he can generally put the shout in a direction... but the shockwave will still probably hit both his intended target [i]and [/i]anything or anyone unlucky enough to be near them.

[div]Likewise, his electricity is both his most uncontrolled and his most unusuable aspect at his current level. Sure, he can get real sparky if you excite or anger him enough, but... he can't launch that electricity out, nor can he fire it out as lightning blasts or shockwaves. The most he can do with it is use it to further damage his enemies by shocking them, which depends entirely on if he can hit them or not. The electricity remains around his body, meaning that as long as you don't touch him or you hit him from far away, you can basically ignore that it exists all together. The amount of electricity he can produce can definitely taze someone but, beyond that, it's pretty much useless in his current state.

[div]His constant production of electricity has also caused him to go through at least seventy-five phones by now. Additionally, he's not immune to his own electricity - meaning if you put him underwater while he's excited, pallas will just immediately shock himself.
[/div]
[div]Additionally, he can't direct the shockwaves when he's yelling in just any direction - it has to be where his face is pointed. So if you hold his head towards the ground or punch him in the face, you can easily change the direction that the shockwave is going to go. Naturally, his shockwaves also get weaker the farther you are away from him. Up close and personal? Oh you're feeling it. On the other side of town or on the other end of a city block? Won't even notice it.

[div]His shockwaves are also solely generated by contact [i]he [/i]makes, and by the force of that contact. This means others can punch, kick, shoot, stab, etc. without creating shockwaves from the contact. As for what this means for Pallas, it means that - accordingly - his shockwaves are based off of how hard he hits something. The stronger shockwaves will always come from him hitting someone as hard as he can, or stomping his feet enough to bruise his heel. If he's fighting for a while and losing steam, his hits will be weaker, and his shockwaves won't be as strong. Naturally, he can't generate shockwaves if his hands, feet, or mouth are covered, nor can he generate them through objects; I.E, he can't swing his club real hard and generate a shockwave through that. It's hands on, baby!

[div]If you restrain him, his quirk can't do much against you. Put him in a soft environment, and his shockwaves won't be able to be properly generated - he can't create shockwaves on soft objects or things like jelly, which don't have a firm and solid basis. Mechanically, if you just drop him in water or lift him off the ground and gag him, you've basically won the fight. As one can expect, if he tries to punch something or kick something that can just absorb the impact, his shockwaves are effectively nullified through and through.

My father was a gambler.
But no matter how much debt he incurred we always had a roof over our heads and food on our plates. I was his number one priority through and through. His heart belonged to the casino and he’d stay there as long as he could chase the big win. But he’d always be home in time for breakfast.
Until he wasn’t.
We spoke primarily through sticky notes. If he had to run out he would have left one on the fridge — something was wrong. Before I could process what happened the phone rang. I learned that some debts were paid in blood.
I called the cops. Told them what happened. They promised they’d get to the bottom of this. So, when the boss walked off I learned the system wasn’t about justice, it was about appearances. A near approximation of justice in every facet except where it mattered; results.
I killed them. I freed my father of the debt he had been burdened with. I freed myself from inheriting that same debt. And I got my first glimpse into the new world.
We didn’t have a funeral. I’m the only one who would miss him… or so I thought. When digging through his trash I stumbled upon the fact I had a brother. A twin brother. We were separated by our parents. Pops always said things never worked out between my mom and him but it never seemed [i]this[/i] bad.
They may have never met but Emilio deserves to know his father passed. And that he has a brother that’ll do anything for him. I bought a ticket to Japan.

Audible gasps could be heard ringing out as the announcement of The Elementals' sentence was broadcasted. Some approved of it, and others feared for what it would mean for the future of Japan. The Elemental wasn't one to mess with, no matter what side of the argument you were on. As the moments continued on, alarm would set in over all of Tokyo as he made his board, rather alarming announcement.
"He's going to do it again?" A troubled woman would grab onto herself, looking up to the tv that was mounted to her wall. Another, downing his fifth beer of the morning, would raise his can to the idea of it, whilst wallowing away in his own filth in a nearby alleyway. As much as the average person would hope that such things wouldn't change their everyday life, but that was going to change in a matter of seconds.
A light, metallic sound could be heard coming from every direction, slowly surrounding the area of Toshima. Rather than staying inside, people left their homes and buildings to look for any signs of alarm; immediately, there was nothing at all. Perhaps the humming was some sort of cicada, or some low playing music. With no danger in sight, people would go about their day until it became much louder and noticeable.
Drones seemed to litter the skyline, peeking out in between any tall building and moving closer and closer to areas of Toshima. While they may have seemed harmless, a high pitched sound would spout from one, before a bright red laser would shoot down and cut through a small ramen food stand. As the first shot, others followed suit and slowly started to destroy the ground, billboards and many windows of businesses in the area.
It put people in a panic; even without these drones hitting anyone directly yet, they distracted people from what they were doing enough to start causing chaos. People were screaming, clamoring to get into any building that they could to the point that they were tripping over others and the environment around them. Even though these metallic contraptions weren't targeting people, how long was that going to last?

Enda Finnegan is a solid guy who knows what it's like to have inner struggles and a great deal of turmoil to the point of going down a dark and winding path. At one point, he lost himself, becoming no better, if not worse the villainous monsters he'd been hellbent to bring down at any and all costs. Part of it was a negative influence, but another was how he let himself feed into a sense of blood lust for watching those who upset him a great deal of torment and suffering. Realizing this with the help of citizens in a perfect storm of doubt, he was absolutely disgusted and knew he had to change. With some adjustments and therapy, he got the tools, so to speak, to break away and become better.
The reasons he had for doing all of those horrible things couldn't be excused and the past isn't something someone can erase. So the next best thing was to improve and re-evaluate his actions so they could fall under a more heroic premise. Finding a heavier weight in the lives of those around him, seeing that as long as someone can be kept away, living can be a far more worse fate than death when done right. Drilling that into his head helped him develop a don't kill unless it's absolutely necessary policy for himself. Even though he has a rather chaotically playful air about himself, he is a solid person who will take the time to be there for someone in their time of need.
He feels like to be a hero, it isn't all about fighting to save the day. Sometimes, saving the day means helping those around you and he believes that through his actions, he can make a difference. Part of why he's so ambitious and driven in being viewed upon as a hero is so that he can actively improve the world around him. Not to mention he's aiming to see a world where quirkers are treated as equals rather than tools or problems to be dealt with. As long as he can pull the strings in his favor, he'll help the world get there sooner or later. Seeing as how he knows what it's like to live in a dark place, thinking he was doing the right thing, he feels as though maybe he has a shot at being the voice of reason.
Enda is also the sort who has a rather low tolerance for taking bullshit, he's not going to just quietly be someone's verbal or physical punching bag. Oh no no, he'll find a way to snap back and might as well be called the Sassmaster 3000 when he gets snippy! Just because he's trying to be a heroic figure to his peers, he feels like letting himself or others be abused and turn a blind eye is some bullshit.

By no means is Enda a buff or beefy individual, he's well toned, akin to a gymnast who focuses on training their body for agility and mobility rather than being a tank. Even though he dresses up like he's the ring master at a circus when going out and bringing forth his brand of justice, he can be found in surprisingly normal clothes. Which is a little surprising considering how extra this blond tends to be in the way he carries himself. Enda's attire as a civilian all depends on his mood since he's the sort who goes with what he feels like will be comfortable that day. He's the kind of guy who would wear a nice suit with sneakers just because he wants to look good on a walk through town or something. His teeth are a lil sharper than most, but thanks to his quirk, he can smooth them out to look a little itty bitty bit more normal if anything at least.
Fashion doesn't have to mean suffering! Then he's also the sort that will throw on a hoodie and pants to go out because eh, screw it, good enuff.

Born and partially raised in Ireland is the man who grew up to be none other than Enda Finnegan. Hailing from a family in which, on his father's side, believed a wealthy marriage was far more important than having a loving spouse. The boy's mother was a con artist of sorts and father dearest hadn't found out until their son was born. Dear ol' dad was mad about the betrayal of his wife and her dishonest methods of getting money since it nearly placed the pair behind bars. So to protect his budding family...he hired some help to take her away. Raising a child isn't something the man found himself capable of caring for, yet keeping the child would ensure his share of the family fortune from his old man one day.
The bitter, greedy man kept his strange child who went from having pale skin and cherry blond locks to blond and black over time. Even the boy's eyes began to change from a brilliant green all way to a bright, golden yellow centered by a pair of slits. Things grew increasingly strange after that, soft...seemingly blue flames would emit from his hands and honestly freaked the boy's old man out, reasonably so! Quirks were pretty rare, but his child's quirk seemed harmless and incredibly useless...until the child began manifesting teeth from those flames. Perhaps it was a good idea that he kept the kid after all?
From crafting and selling jewelry to making deals with dentists, they were making some steady money and it made up for the mistakes done by Enda's mother. Eventually, he met a boy who was strong inside and out, man did he make his heart sing! He even believed in him, that he was more than some sort of money making machine...that he could be a hero. Together, they could be heroes and he allowed himself to be swept away with ideals of sweeping evil out of the world and he found the gleeful spark of happiness making his dull heart race once more, finally he could so so much more with his life! There was a catch though, the boy let Enda know what his father had done to his mother...that's right...the woman essentially had a permanent disappearing act and it was dear ol' dad's fault.
His father was evil, the world would be better without him, it made sense the more he thought about it since he not only drew the curtains on his mother's life...but was using him as nothing more than a loyal puppet. Enda hadn't realized how much he could do with his quirk, but it was all thanks to the one who snatched his heart, inspiring him to think out of the box. When he was confident enough in his quirk, he gave his father a disappearing act of his own and avenged his mother...though at the time, he felt like her passing was for the better.
Together, they ran off to Japan and came up with guises for themselves to continue dealing out their brand of justice, which many seemed to mistake for villainy. Then came redistribution of wealth from the greedy and kept some for themselves...but as time went on, it seemed as though the man he'd grown to love was becoming more and more corrupt. It took having a civilian's throat beneath his feet to look him in the eye and call him out on how he was being evil and that his partner saw him as a pawn. Challenged him that if he'd been wrong about it, to come on over to their damn house and murder them after a cup of coffee. At the time, Dhëmbët the Reaper was cocky and tried to tell himself that this stupid civilian better have their will ready to go by the time he comes knocking on his door.
Bloodshed and torture, moments that were once filled with love and adoration for who he was turned into just mentions of all this power he had at his fingertips. Once upon a time...he would have compared their partnership to that of a pair of newly weds. Those days were gone as it was power this and power that, how useful his quirk was at dealing with their obstacles. Instead of trying to talk it out and let him know how screwed up he'd become, how much it was hurting him to see the one he loved become the very thing they swore against....using him like a damn tool. Enough was enough and he silently left and accepted that he fucked up real bad and he had to make it up to the innocent people who died at his hands by being better.
Enda knew he could be better...so when he showed up in his villainous garb at that civilian's door, the person was taken aback by hearing the bloodthirsty Dhëmbët the Reaper utter the words, you were right after all... and let himself in for a cup of coffee. Stowing away at their house to recollect himself, he was glad he hadn't ruined his birth name and decided to go through therapy. Of course, he had to change a lot of details to make things more mundane and less so I'm guilty about getting carried away with my quirk by becoming a power hungry piece of shit. Going back to his roots of manifesting teeth and selling them for money as jewelry and to dentists, he spent time away from the crime fighting scene to re-evaluate his own moral compass. Though the psychological wounds were still fresh, his ex was apparently on a rampage...trying to find Dhëmbët the Reaper, his so called partner.
Enda wasn't ready, but he had to try and stop the damn psychopath he still gave a shit about. Crafting a new costume, he showed up and when his ex called out to him, Dhëmbët the Reaper, he corrected the man and let him know that wasn't his title anymore. He was Sir Eyin now and that he was going to show him what a real hero is and how it's done!
And so, Sir Eyin kicked his ex's ass and tried his best to leave him behind. In a way, it felt like a sense of closure for that portion of Enda's life, even if he was still feeling messed up over everything. Another charming man stepped into his life who was strong and swept him off his feet with ease...everything seemed great, perfect even. Almost like he was going to have some sort of cute fairy tale ending and then...things went wrong again. Oh yes, this hunky prince charming was a freaking villain as well!
Being absolutely livid, calling out the man who swept him off his feet, he broke it off properly and stormed the hell off in an effort to leave him behind like he did the first evil ex. It was frustrating as could be that his love life was a game of fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice, shame on me since he should have seen the similar signs from a mile away. Staggering backward and throwing himself back into therapy before he could regress beyond repair, Enda managed to come out of this a bit stronger and used it as a driving force to not give up on being a better person. If he wanted to be a proper hero, not some shitty puppet, he absolutely needed to push forward and keep moving.
He knew it was going to take some hard work and dedication to be respected and accepted after all he's done, but he was going to earn it somehow! Sir Eyin is determined to keep shining bright, come what may, he'll do his best! Even that pile of failed relationships won't drag him down, that just makes for an interesting drinking game!
In fact, all that hard work had paid off and as he managed to go legit as a Pro Hero for his more heroic approach at vigilantism, he rebranded and went under the same alias as his quirk: The Tooth Fairy for shits and giggles. Thankfully, The Sands of Time helped make things smoother for the transition into going legit...albeit a lil rocky for [i]how[/i] he met Saturn, but it all worked out!

With this suit, he can control articles of his clothing since the teeth are sewn into it. There's a detachable, small cape on most of his suits that can be controlled independently due to having teeth sewn into it. The sleeves of his jacket are detachable as well. The paneling of his suit & vest can be broken up for the jacket, so it can be used to help break away or part of his impromptu, unconventional arsenal. NOTE when articles of his suit are damaged on the field, he can't replace or mend them, thus his ability to fly will then be hindered, or even completely nullified. This goes for the more of his suit being used for combat ruins or nullifies his flight capabilities, whenever he figures out how to get that sorted, as well since only pants won't be the most sufficient.

The lil plush has some teeth sewn into it so it can be bobbled around for entertainment purposes, or a surprise plushie puppet attack. He ordered a bunch cause they grew on him, but he's only got one on him at a given time. It squeaks when hugged or impact is made, the eye is googly so it wiggles around.

[b]QUIRK DESCRIPTION:[/b] Tooth Fairy is a strange quirk where the user in question is capable of controlling and manifesting all sorts of teeth through fluoride flames. These fluoride flames don't set anything on fire at all, they simply strengthen enamel, create and control various types of teeth.
The flames are primarily blue, but when he gets upset, they become a crimson orange and still don't set anything ablaze properly in a painful sense. Nah, just warm ol' fluoride flames, though the teeth tend to be sharper such as primarily canines or teeth animals (fish, too!) use to rip through flesh, bones and/or bark/wood. Another nice thing about his fluoride flames is that they mend enamel and fix up cavities, save money by visiting your local tooth fairy, obviously.
[b]NOTE![/b] - An RPer's permission is necessary to control their character's teeth when the fluoride flames make contact. Otherwise, it simply won't work. Consent is important!
[b]QUIRK DRAWBACKS:[/b] Much like his cousin, there is a hereditary problem among the Finnegan bloodline is a singular eye will have problems with quirk usage. Enda's problem is more severe to the point where a corrective lens to help his vision, he wears an eye patch to make life easier whenever he uses his quirk. Thus, his depth perception isn't the best when he uses his quirk at longer distances, the closer the better. If his eye patch is taken off during quirk use, there will be SEVERE disorientation until he can cover it up again.
Quirk overuse without proper pacing will also feel like withdrawals which is feverish, cold sweats,
When it comes to making and controlling teeth, it has to be a natural material, not man-made. Examples of types of teeth he can manifest & control with his quirk are enamel, calcium (including calcium phosphate), dentin (ivory), cementum.
When it comes to [b]controlling teeth from others[/b] (WHICH REQUIRES CONSENT. WE STAN CONSENT IN THIS HOUSE!), one thing (ASIDE FROM CONSENT PERMISSION) that will absolutely stop him from being able to control teeth or a tooth is if it's made of man made/processed materials, more so if it no longer has the pulp within it on top of that. If a tooth has a filling? Consider it more difficult! If it's man made/processed? NOPE, NOT A SHOT IN CONTROL! Teeth around him without the pulp take a bit more effort as long as the organic tooth materials remain. No pulp in the teeth + man made substance + fragments of organic tooth material = way more difficult due to man made substances.
Although he's a sharp and creative guy, he CANNOT replicate objects he doesn't understand on a mechanical level, if he does then it's just gonna have the visual appearance rather than proper functionality. High calcium diet = good & an odd twist of fate, he has to consume fluoride every now and again...which kinda messes with his stomach a bit.
Construct notes + examples - various shapes (including spikes), saw-like shapes (i.e buzz saw), hand shapes (gets puppeteer-ed by his hands with movement), walls, platforms, pillars, pincers, various jaw shapes (take a bite out of crime or you know, jaws of life), basic furniture, ladders, pipes, tools, drill shapes. Has to have physical movement to direct the path of teeth, physical movement to twirl drills, keeping something still requires at least one limb staying in place. The larger a construct is, the more difficult it is to control with a singular limb.

Mei’s most dominant traits are her apparent lack of common sense, utter fearlessness, and unwavering belief in herself. She generally marches at the beat of her own drum, unwilling to approach anything in a delicate or nuanced matter. Some people may describe her as stupid, but it’s more appropriate to frame this as ignorance as she is willing to learn new things but struggles to understand concepts presented to her in a certain way.
As ignorant as she can be, Mei can be very sharp in her own way. This is applicable primarily when it comes to logic traps and fallacies due to her ignoring anything that she can't understand in favor of what she can; it offers a perspective that most critical thinkers aren’t able to possess naturally. It's not her only advantage, as this simple viewpoint also means that she’s confident in what is real to her and doesn’t fool herself when it comes to doubt, as she relies on her instincts. If something is too simple to be seen, count on her seeing it.
Mei is the type of person to lose all sense of rationality once her temper flares up. In particularly thought-provoking or frustrating situations where she cannot fully grasp what is going on, her default state is to get angry. Well, frankly…a lot, but I won’t bore you with the details. I’ve got two parents who work in business, so they’re busy a lot, and I’m an only child. I don’t know if that was always the plan or if they realized that after I was born, but honestly, I don’t mind it. It means I don’t gotta fight with anyone over my stuff.
Quirk isn’t anything exceptional compared to some of the bomb-ass superpowers people have, like laser vision or heat vision. I just got a good sense of balance which my mom says when I first stood up as a baby, I never fell again. Like I said, nothing too crazy.
Dad’s Chinese and mom’s half Chinese half Japanese which meant I mostly grew up in China. It was fine, nothing too crazy over there made a few good friends, including my best friend. Dang, I miss her, but she’ll visit soon!... I hope. When I was 15, we moved to Japan since my mom had some relatives here, and my parents also wanted me to enroll in UAU. They said, “My schooling in China didn’t help me,” which…do they think I’m dumb? Okay, well, sort of true, but damn, that shit hurts. So they figured because my grandma on my mom's side is a really good tutor that, moving there would help my grades so I could get into university. Well, shoot it does, but like…holy crap, are the Vigilantes pretty cool. It’s like that comic with the guy who dresses up like a Capybara and fights crime during the night.
Grandma isn’t as strict as Mom or dad after all, she’s a retired hero or whatever, so even though she could have busted me, she helps me. She makes me a unique and bright costume to hide my identity and tells me she’ll only let me keep doing this if I enroll at UAU. There’s always a catch but sure, being able to be a superhero without any stupid nonsense is a good enough reason. Between that and working at a boba tea shop, year 1 and year 2 fly by. It was only a few months ago that my parents decided to host another UAU student. I…don’t know what to think about her, but we get along at the very least. Plus, it’s like being an older sister!

Perry is but a simple Poss, Born originally somewhat normal to his kind to a small group of Opossums in the Tokyo zoo. However as his quirk quickly formed and mutated him overtime he became a thinker. Ever since then he has adapted and has a mind like that of a human from a Opossums perspective. He usually intends to be kind but can be easily confused by human society or what and what not to do in certain situations. He tries to take each situation with a open mind though.
Given his experience with humans and his time in the zoo or other mistreatments as well. He is sometimes wary of them worrying how they may react to not only his animal being but often finding they mistake him for a large rat as well. He takes this as quite the insult. He tends to prefer the company of only open minded humans and or animals that don't see him as some sort of would be prey.
He tries to be kind when he can which is what led to him wanting to help people when danger or misdeeds are being done. After his own problems and pains he doesn't like to see others suffer be they people or pawed ones. He also never usually will turn down a good meal. He might be wary of most but a bit of kindness can go a long way with him. He is still learning and desires to be better one might say.

He stands a tiny bit taller then the average Opossum. His fur well maintained and kept clean as well. He has dark brown eyes and rounded ears. Much like his thumbed feet his quirk has also allowed his upper hands to adapt and evolve with an opposable thumb as well. He has a long strong pink tail also. He also seems to have a bit more of a belly then his normal possum counter parts. Possibly being from being able to find or scavenge food easier then his less intelligent fellows of his species.
When clothed he can come in a variety of styles. While he doesn't always see the need of clothes he does prefer finer tastes. Having a small assortment of suits acquired through various means. As well as a custom made hero suit. He likes bright colors and comfort when it comes to things he wears. At times sporting a backpack as well for any loot or treasures he carries with him or hopes to find.

[/div]Born a small joey in a passel of Opossums at the Tokyo zoo. Life was simple at first for Perry. His quirk though would see fit to aid in all that changing rather quickly though through his growing days. As he learned and grew in mind and aptitude. He found the treatment of he and his kind quickly barbaric and unacceptable. However mastering language was not one of easier things to learn so it wasn't easy to communicate with his captors as he saw it. An the more he advanced the more his own kind saw him as strange and began to ostracize him as well. Some of his only comforts for a time being the kinder visitors or one or two of the more stomachable captors. The smallest of the visitors occasionally slipping him new delights and treats even though this wasn't technically allowed.
However with time his caging only become worse when after awhile of his own kind turning on him he was placed in another more secluded caging and enclosure. It didn't take him long as he continued to evolve to learn and decide he would be rid of this place. With a small array of contraband of small items of a twine rope, some bobby pins, an various other trinkets. He hatched his plan one night after the lights and people had left for the day. They would only find a empty habitat an various packaging of stolen snacks from the snack bar littered towards the exit when they arrived in the morning. As well as while he considered aiding his brethren. He quickly by this point knew setting them free might have caused more issues. So it was with regret he had to leave them be as well as the other imprisoned creatures.
While freedom has come with its own set of headaches learning to adapt to the open human dominated world. He is more open now to using his abilities and being himself without fear now that he has become free of his cages. He can scavenge or use clever means to get what he desires. He has also at times dabbled in adding those in need like these hero people he's observed. Seeing it as a way of helping people after understanding what its like to feel helpless like in his first days. An so 'PAW MIGHT!' was born.

While some of his feats are on par with human level only it is still rather impressive coming from such a small package as he might phrase it. Given his still youthful body and fine health at his age. It seems his evolution has also allowed him to live longer then his species normally do and age better as well. For how long who can say? But with evolution on ones side he is quite optimistic.

QUIRK DRAWBACKS: [/b]The headaches can be the worst at times, Or aches of the body when changes take place. While he can usually deal with these he has found drink to be quite the aid against the pain. The brain aches usually being the worst of it sometimes cause dizziness and sever light headedness.
Also even to whatever point his strength or speed may reach. He still has trouble when it comes to taking a thrashing. The main issue being his small size and weight make it perhaps easier then he'd like to be sent flying if hit with enough force. Bouncing around like a pinball is not something anyone would enjoy. If not for his quirk itself he is sure he wouldn't even survive such things normally.
If reduced to panic or overtaking fear he can also become somewhat animalistic. Losing some of his -humanity- as he'd put it for lack of a better word temporarily. His animal side and mind still very much present in their own way in the back of his growing and evolving mind.
