‘‘Ah missed ya too.’’ More than he could ever imagine. Her entire day, no, the last week had been building up to this moment. To her embracing him like this and putting the rose in his hair. He was so impossibly cute, the most handsome murderer and lover in the whole universe and he was hers, just as she was all his. Soon they were going to be parents together, something she had known about for a little while, but only now was the realization dawning on her. Just how lucky she was to get to raise children with her soulmate, things she would hella never have seen coming before their meeting in the Disney store all those years ago! She chuckled when he called her cute. ‘‘A cutie ta match yer gorgeous-self!! Ah’m gonna demand some selfies with ya later.’’ She teased, wanting the memory of this day to live forever in her mind and in her photo albums. ‘‘Course ya do! Ah wanted ta make ya somethin’!’’ She wrapped her arms around him while she occupied one leg, leaning into him so that her heartbeat would resonate and send little signals through his body. Could he feel it? How nervous she was? How committed she was to loving him until the heat death of the universe? She let out a little quiet hum, closing her eyes for a brief moment as she relished in the feeling of having his fingertips explore her hair. ‘‘Ah did, all in secret too.’’ Her index finger traced a soft line down his jaw as she looked for his reaction. Happy, glittering diamond tears in her eyes as she said what she had been waiting so long to say. This moment had been a shared dream of theirs for who knows how long. She wrapped her arms around him too, she only took a split second to get lost in his eyes before she kissed him back. She cried with him, laughed with him, and experienced the happiest moment of her life so far with him to its absolute fullest. ‘‘It is!’’ She chuckled back, ‘‘Whose else? They’re both yers!’’ Her voice lowered to a comforting whisper as she sat there, heart and soul wrapped around him. Her hand would gently search for his, leading it up to rest on her tum. ‘‘It’s twins. Our family is about ta get a lot bigger.’’ She grinned, quickly reassuring him that everything was okay. ‘‘Ah’m fine, Ah’m fine! Kazashi's life had been insanely busy lately. From graduating hero university, to getting a full-time job as a pro hero. A job which included tracking down the clues to the lost Kaneko children, her half siblings, which had somehow resulted in metal clones of her and Mochi emerging from some sort of strange quirk incident. On top of all that, an unknown criminal organization was putting out bounties on heroes AND she had just recently found out that she was pregnant. A tumultuous life to say the least. But! She was still keen to make time for her friends, particularly someone like Jun who she had known for years. While the circumstances of their first meeting was deeply tragic, Kaz had tried her best to remedy it since, inviting Jun out for a cup of tea, or lunch every now and then, even offer training in any way that she could. Anything to help Jun move past the darkness that threatened to drag her down into a pit of unending misery and despair. Kaz had seen firsthand how talented Jun was and she knew that it was her duty not only as one of the current young generations of heroes, but as a friend to help her in whatever way she could. Today that help involved inviting Jun out to the Kiyashi Shopping Mall. One of Kaz's favorite lunch spots were located out here and in case Jun was eager to go shopping for something after they had time to do that too. She had already taken her seat outside of the main restaurant, having reserved a table that gave a great overlook of the mall, just in case she needed to jump into action. Hero careers were strange like that. Even when she wasn't on duty, she still couldn't turn off that part of her brain. With her phone laid out on the table, display facing up, Kaz kept an eye out for any incoming texts from Jun. Meanwhile she was also looking at her nanite-infused ring tattoo. Kazashi chuckled at the little snap effect. She had missed Mochi and all her little mannerisms. She continued to happily listen to Mochi gush about her girl, making a mental note to swing by and say hi herself whenever she would happen to visit UAU. Now that she was a pro hero she was working out in society, but chances were the school called her back sooner or later. Who knew! ''We helped my mom move down ta Tokyo recently, so visitin' her or gettin' visits from her has become easier than ever.'' She chimed in once Mochi gave her the moment to. And there she was, smug as can be looking directly at Mochi. An open to challenge to guess what it was, what could it be? ~ When Mochi made her guess, Kaz damn near choked on her boba tea as she stammered out. ''H-How did ya know?! Did Chuck-kun tell ya?'' She had been a fool to underestimate the master of stealth and impersonation. Her perception was no joke and Kaz couldn't help but laugh at how impressive that was, pulling her hat down slightly to hide her blush. ''A-Ah am, but only ya an' Chuchu an' my mom knows.'' She was still a bit embarrassed about announcing it to others in her social sphere, although she would have to tell her workplace eventually. ''It's how do ya put it... Ah don't know how ta bring it up, how ta announce it ta a ton of people, ya know that sorta thing. Y-Ya can tell Fufu though!! Or Ah'll do it!'' She was so flustered all of a sudden, taking another sip from her boba tea. ''But that's not all Momo it's... They're...'' She let out a little sigh, smiling back at her friend. She could feel her heart beating out of her chest when he came home, impossibly happy to see the love of her life again even though they hadn’t been apart for long. Was that sushi he was carrying too? And a rose? She couldn’t help but flash him a big dumb grin knowing what was coming up in a moment. She closed her eyes and kissed him right back, she wanted to embrace him too, but still couldn’t. ‘‘Hey handsome. ~ how was work?’’ She whispered back. Auric eyes hungry and eternally happy in his presence. ‘‘Close yer eyes.’’At last she could reveal what she was holding in her hands, taking out a rose red flower head, slipping her gentle fingers and it into his hair. It wasn’t quite the crown her king deserved, but it was infused with all her love, blessed with thousands of little kisses, and he looked absolutely stunning wearing it. ‘‘Ta-daa, ya can open yer eyes now.’’ She looked down at the rose in his hand once more. ‘‘No way this is a coincidence, we’re hella matchin’ now!’’ She leaned in to give him a quick kiss before stepping aside so he could finally see the gift she had left for him on the table. ‘‘Ah got ya a present.’’ Her heart was in her throat. Knowing he was moments away from unwrapping it, that the day had finally come. When Chuck finally did open the gift, what he would find inside was a nice, cozy sweater made to fit his exact measurements. Embroidered into it were letters, a number. Once completely unfurled it read… #1 Dad She let him process it for a moment, so nervous she felt like she was moments from fainting! ‘‘Chuck-kun.’’ She blushed, putting her hands together, her smile so big and full of happiness that it reached her eyes. ‘‘Ah’m pregnant.’’CHUCK MCCOY |

''Momo!'' She smiled waving her friend down. It was kind of comforting to see Mochi wear the same cap as always. Even with the world and society they were living in going through so many changes somethings always stayed the same. ''Ah took the bus, guess our apartment isn't far from this place.'' Her and Chuck were just lucky like that, finding a dream apartment together. Close to work, safe, just their own little space in their own tiny little corner of Tokyo. ''Ah'm good, work's been treatin' me pretty great, almost makes ya wonder if the school was tryin' ta scare us out of becomin' heroes or somethin'.'' She had nothing against UAU, maybe it was just a testament to how they had been prepared for actual hero life, that now that they were finally here it felt less demanding than going to school. ''Chuck-kun's doin' great too, he gets cuter by the day.'' At this point a waiter came up to ask for Mochi's order. After he left Kaz continued their conversation. ''How about ya an' Fufu? How is it bein' adults.'' She joked, something she had done commonly as a uni student was joke about graduating and having to become real adults. When their drinks arrived Kazashi happily accepted her boba tea and took a big sip out of it. Even with the ocean breeze sitting in the sun could get toasty fast. ''It's nice ta be down by the ocean for a change.'' She took her sunglasses off and placed them on the table. ''Actually, somethin' great has happened since we last saw each other, but ya have ta guess it!'' She grinned cheekily, placing the straw of her boba in her mouth for another sip. mochi |

''Looks like Ah'm early!'' Kazashi beamed, putting her hand up to give Demura and Skald a small wave, immediately turning towards the snacks to get a cup of coffee and a couple of sandwiches. No hero could hero without a little bit of fuel after all! She was a relatively new pro hero all things considered, and while she had been working out of Tokyo for a while, there were still many heroes she hadn't met personally. Oftentimes she basically relied on knowing them through UAU which she had attended in the past. ''Thank ya for hostin' this thing!'' She said to Demura specifically, before she got into her seat and put her snacks down, bowing her head politely. ''Ah'm Apparel, lookin' forward ta workin' with ya!'' She also wasn't wearing her hero outfit, as it was still being fixed up after a recent destructive run-in her and Pretender had with a couple of villains. Then again, due to the nature of her quirk it was debatable how necessary a hero costume even was, since it could be argued that Kaz was the outfit herself. ''Ah heard yer the new combat instructor at UAU, how's the job treatin' ya?'' She smiled at Demura, before turning to Skald and finally taking notice of the cookies and milk. ''Yer Maelstrom, right? Ah've heard good things about ya.'' With her eyes on the fox lady and without looking directly at the cookies at all, she transformed her left hand into a red scarf, letting it slither across the table before wrapping around one of the cookies and retracting quickly. Transforming her hand back to normal, she took a sizable bite out of the cookie. Taking careful sips from her coffee, Kaz would continue to watch every hero as they entered the meeting, not only to confirm who her current and future allies were, but also so she knew who Chuck might be facing in the future. It was just a quick bus ride to get to the Bay area from where she lived. As she stood and stared out the window idly, her eyes lit up briefly when they drove past the UAU campus. So many nostalgic memories and it hadn't even been that long. When was the last time she had seen Mochi anyway? It felt like a while. There was their whole graduation ceremony, their celebrations after with Chuck and Futaba, but then life just sort of returned to normalcy. They were both adults working full-time, as heroes no less. It wasn't exactly the kind of job that gave the most days off on any given year, but their schedules had finally lined up. They had agreed to meet at this nice seaside cafe. It was a great place to catch up and an even better place to combat the increasing Spring heat as they would get the gentle ocean breeze blowing on them while they talked. Kazashi arrived early and decided to get a table for the both of them, ordering herself a fruity boba tea while she waited. It probably wouldn't be too long until her friend arrived anyway. She was wearing a cozy sundress and a summer hat that managed to hide away her horns, as well as a trendy pair of sunglasses to keep the sun out of her eyes. From her outfit of choice one might even assume it was Summer already! But no, it was just Kaz wearing whatever she felt like. With her legs crossed she looked out over the ocean, smiling to herself. Her heart was pounding like crazy after she sent her text to Chuck, letting him know that a surprise was waiting for him when he got home. Was now the right time? How was he going to react? She was barely holding it together thinking about it, pacing back and forth in their apartment as she kept replaying the scene where he would open the door over and over again in her mind. She knew he wouldn’t hate it, they had been talking about it for years, but maybe that was exactly why she was nervous and excited. To finally share this news with him and… She turned to look over at their living room table, a neat, blue gift wrapped with a red ribbon, ready to be unwrapped by her soulmate hubby when he got home. She had been working on it in secrecy all along, when he worked long days and she had the opportunity to take it out. She was hella scared that he would have seen it half finished! So scared in fact, that she left other, smaller sewing projects laying around so that it looked like she was just working on another pair of woolly socks, when in reality she was hiding his gift from him all along. Finally ready to unveil it all today. Years and years of being in the hero field and she had never been this nervous before. She closed her eyes and pressed her wedding ring tattoo up to her lips gently as she took a few deep breaths. It was a little ritual she had developed that always helped her calm down and stay grounded. Never failed because it was hella infused with all of her Chuchu’s love!! Wearing a casual summer dress she was getting slightly ahead of herself since it was still only spring, but she had been inside all day and it was comfortable to wear! More importantly, it helped hide her tiniest of bumps! She was barefoot too, toenails hella painted the deepest red to match her horns (and love and affection for him!!!). She had left her fingernails alone however, because she was hoping they could paint them together later on, depending on how he felt. Hopefully his day hadn’t been too rough on him. Well, if it had she would just have to turn around and make it better! Kazashi is described briefly, a delinquent with a heart of gold who feels all her emotions very strongly. She is an emotional fool who isn't afraid to cry in front of others, and also a bit of a hothead. Kazashi used to be a timid girl who couldn't stand big crowds of people. She still prefers smaller crowds, but thanks to the help of her friends, particularly Mochi Ogawa, and her soulmate Chuck McCoy, she has become a lot more confident in herself. Where she was once a nervous girl who could barely get through a full sentence without stuttering, it is safe to say she has a much better handle on her social anxiety, becoming a much more confident woman ready to take on the role of a hero. This confidence in turn has made her much more friendly and approachable, wanting to give back to the hero system that gave her so much by helping lift others in whichever way she can. She is a fiercely loyal person and someone who will stay by your side once you have her trust. She is however, also prone to getting jealous. She is deeply passionate about clothes and could talk about them for hours to anyone who would listen. Oftentimes one of her first observations is what a person is wearing and as such complimenting them on their style is one of her most common icebreakers. Socializing comes much more naturally to her now after her years of studying and growing as a person at UA uni. She inherited these mutation features from her father, Blaine, but resembles her mother Emma much more closely. Her light pink blonde hair is long and well-kept, often alternating between a handful of different hairstyles, but mostly she will either wear it down, or in a high ponytail. Contrasting her hair however, is her fashion sense. Kazashi loves to try out different types of outfits, to the point that she almost doesn't have a single coherent style other than whatever she thinks she looks cute in, or feels comfortable wearing. Out of any material things she owns by far what she has the most of is clothes, to the point that it's rare to see her in the same outfit during any given month of the year. She occasionally likes to accessorize as well, but keeps it mainly to long earrings, shiny rings or cute bracelets. From the way she dresses she can also be a bit of an enigma. Just because she has a lot of clothes doesn't mean that she always knows how to make them complement each other. This is due to the very nature of her experimenting, meaning she will sometimes wear jarring or clashing outfits when it comes to color coordination simply because she wants to. With the boom of quirks happenin' some fifty years ago he grew obsessed with findin' the right combination that would complement his an' create the ultimate quirk. My mom, Emma Sakai didn't want me experiecin' any of that so she hid me away in an orphanage in Okinawa. Here Ah was brought up none the wiser. No friends an' definitely no family, not until Ah was adopted at the age of fifteen, but by that time Ah had been walkin' around with an unchecked social anxiety spun outta control for years. It wasn't until high school that Ah finally started gettin' control over myself, started feelin' comfortable bein' human rather than always turnin' inta clothes. Ah owe my rapid development ta meetin' the love of my life, most handsome, funny, mesmerizing an' irresistible man ya will ever see. He kidnapped me an' tried ta turn me inta a martyr for his cause, brandin' me an' my quirk a failure. If it wasn't for the combined efforts of Mochi an' Chuck, Ah probably wouldn't be here today. Together the three of us took down Blaine Kaneko an' got his ass thrown in prison where he's still rottin' ta this day. Afterwards, Ah found out my biological mom was still alive. Ah reunited with Emma then an' she moved down ta Tokyo ta live closer ta me an' Chuck. Right around when Ah graduated university, Chuck was free of his criminal debt an' proposed ta me. Of course Ah said yes. Knew it was goin' ta be him an' me forever ever since Ah first saw his handsome face in the Disney store. Now things are goin' pretty great for us! The clothes she turn into look like regular clothes, but are hardened equal to her quirk rank, making her quirk boost her Durability attribute while it is active. The clothes she are able to transform into can also be made of various materials, such as rubber if she turns into a rubber boot and so on. While she is transformed Kazashi still has full control over herself and can see and speak as normal. QUIRK DRAWBACKS: The longer Kazashi is transformed, the more she will lose her sense of human form, which causes her to lose the ability to be able to stand and walk once she transforms back into a human. Quirk overuse will lead Kazashi to enter a panicked state. For flavor, this could be considered as her willpower tanking so hard that she has to remove herself from danger as her innate survival instinct kicks in. It doesn't matter if she is fighting a villain, or rescuing civilians, the overuse of her quirk will cause her to panic and drop everything. While Kazashi's overall toughness is buffed when she is transformed, her clothing form is still weak to the elements.
