[attr="class","likedoinfo"] The flow of the rushing water gradually began to slow down as the combinations of the golem and platforms that Kikurage made created a daming effect, eventually turning the rushing water into still water about 8 feet deep.
The golem advancing on Kikurage, Lucille, Farrin, Ylva, and Masao had a one-track mind pursuing its targets without so much as flinching from the combination assault but the group was able to stop its movements thanks to Masao acting as a shield. The following affliction of multiple different attacks overwhelmed its hard exterior began to crack revealing...
A person?
From Yaoyao and Lili's infiltration of the golem, they would find the same thing - a person.
These people were anything but ordinary, as those looking at the person would see the image of the person they cared for the most/were closest to looking back at them. The golem Yaoyao was on top of cracked as a disheveled Kei Hada looked back at her before leaping at her, aiming for her throat to drag her under the water as the golem it was housed in fell to pieces.
The one in front of the other group had the person flop in front of them, unmoving but shaking uncontrollably as if it were seizing up. For those looking at this one they would see the following:
Masao -> Enma Arashi
Farrin -> Sada
Lucille -> Diego
Kikurage -> Her deceased father
Ylva -> Kikurage
If that wasn't all from the farthest point in the room, a chill would sweep through as It hung in the air ominously before pointing its red staff at the last remaining golem. A Guardian Nomu.
"consurge et progredi" its voice was loud and yet hung in the air like a soft whisper as the golem swelled, the formation on its body changing as it packed on bulk looking much more durable than the previous two combined. The water in the room began to recede, pooling in the middle as it took on a humanoid form resembling ['The Tide' from the Elementals] event earlier this year.
If that wasn't enough, the body of the person who was originally seizing up stopped and then shimmered before multiplying into five copies of itself. All of them rose to their feet and then charged at each target.
Even if they could all deal with the Tide golem and subdue those they cared for the most, it looked like they would need some extra heavy firepower to deal with the new and improved rumbling golem...

They weren't entirely disposed of at this point, but at the rate the ragtag group was going their numbers were dropping fast
Everyone in the area would suddenly hear a chime as the existing golems stopped moving. They would be unresponsive to anything that was going on around them as if they were in a trance.
A soft voice would speak out that all could hear "Countermeasures."
A rumble could be felt below everyone's feet as the existing golems crouched back down, their upper body shrinking almost as if they were turning back to normal rocks. From the 'ashes,' so to speak, rose a different form of golem, one that a few would recognize from the news.
"Rooks." Three replaced many, [resembling The Rumbling Titan] [See: Elementals - The Rumbling for more details!] and they moved forward splitting the three between different groupings of people. They were slow, but their toughness was on a different level, and their bulk/weight would prove an advantage when...
If that wasn't already enough, a 'natural disaster' would strike shortly after. The water in the pools around the garden would bubble and then swell. [Water in the form of hydra heads popped up all over], and they surged forward, merging in a giant wave that would sweep anyone not ground or anchored to the earth in a flowing torrent that couldn't hope to fight against.
Perhaps there was someone around who could help fortify the battlefield? Or someone durable and strong enough to stand against these waves to fight back...?

The archers on one side of the ramparts were dropping like flies as Vox tore through them, with his quirk giving him the edge.
A booming voice echoed out, "Send out The Watchers and The Dragons, NOW!"
Aerial support in a flock of [four black owls] few overheard with one of them landing on the shoulder of a far archer and its head swiveled to make eyes with Vox. They glowed bright red, and the voice would feel his quirk weakening, dismissing the words he assigned to himself.
Everyone could hear the gate click as it released the mechanism holding it up and dropped over the moat. Releasing the...dragons...? These 'dragons' were a swarm of hundreds of [salamanders] crawling over the gates and on the surrounding walls. One of them would open its mouth and release a massive fireball toward Masao, Enma, and Stellar. The others would do the same, raining fire down on the battlefield.
For the astute, they would see one of the salamanders lose its grip, fall to the ground, and poof into ash. These salamanders were numerous but clearly not tough; if only they could call someone more suited for this. Someone who could fight numbers with numbers...?

She is a bright beam of American Pride with a beaming smile at all times, a friendly personality inviting all around her to stand in excitement with her. She is a well trained advocate for the American Dream, an infectious, near boundless energy. The girl is all bubbles, all the time in public. A carefully crafted image to try and make her as likeable as possible. People who analyze her incredibly closely may even notice that her movements themselves seem to be trained. Her laugh is rehearsed. She is an actor, the entire world her audience at all times. This happy outward exterior is barely containing a ball of unhinged lust for power and bloodshed.
[span] [/span]Columbia's entire personality is simply a facade. Similar to the very makeup of her body, she is a barely contained nuclear reactor. Explosive and volatile, Columbia has been raised from birth as if she was the single most important thing in the world. That mentality has infected every element of her personality. She is completely self-absorbed. She genuinely believes that she is above every other person alive. She is more than human. The adoration that she has been trained to generate, she believes that she is simply deserving of it. More than adoration, she believes she is deserving of abject worship.
[span] [/span]This attitude does not simply apply to her. She has a "Might is Right" mentality to most things. The strong lead, the weak follow and serve. In that vein, all with quirks are simply better than the rest, and even among those with quirks, the strongest quirks were markers of the strongest wills. The strongest people. And anything holding the strong back from their desires needs to be removed.
[span] [/span]Needless to say, Columbia has learned to hide these parts of herself away. She's a public figure, and has been raised to be one since birth. She's been in the public image her entire life and thus she is incredibly gifted at manufacturing her outward image. She knows how to act to get people to cheer her on, to get them to adore her. She's taken this training to her private life as well. She shows her real self to almost no one to make sure that she can continue to receive the praise she desires.
[span] [/span]It's that desire for praise that is perhaps her biggest crutch. Because she so firmly believes she deserves it, the lack of praise hurts her. She is in constant need of approval from others. This desire for approval is what holds her back from acting on her baser instincts. She's scared of causing too much bloodshed, because she knows that if people are too scared, they won't give her the adoration she wants so badly.

[span] [/span]Columbia is, in an incredible number of ways, the quintessential stereotype of a young American Girl Scout. A pretty face with perfect skin, a lean build, and a lovely smile. She has bright sky blue eyes with long, straight flowing golden hair. Her hair is usually kept long, at around shoulder length. She clearly is athletic, though her build is much leaner than one would expect from her style of training. The one point on her body that is not unblemished is one seen by only a handful of eyes. On the back of her skull is chemically burned the number "001".
[span] [/span]She is most often wearing some kind of American iconography on her clothing. Whether it be an American Flag jacket, a bald eagle on her shirt or shorts, or whether she has simply sewn the letters USA into her clothing at random. When it comes to the actual style of clothing she likes to wear, a lot of it also mimics classic images of Americana. She enjoys wearing denim shorts and jackets mixed with tank tops and cowboy boots. She'll wear varsity style jackets and sweats in American colors. She will wear cowboy hats and baseball caps.
[span] [/span]She has a specially made hero suit as well. A skin tight bodysuit in Red, Blue, and Gold coloring. She has a matching jacket to go with the bodysuit as well. Both of these items have a large insignia plastered on them. A large S within a diamond to represent her hero name. The body-suit places the insignia on the chest, while her jacket has one on the left shoulder and one on the back.

[span] [/span]Columbia Washington was not born with that name. She wasn't born with any name actually. She was born as SPIx001. Simply the identifier used to distinguish her from the other test subjects. 001 never got the opportunity to meet any of the other test subjects, but she could sometimes see the numbers on the back of their heads. The highest number she ever saw was 086.
[span] [/span]001 would eventually learn that she was simply the offspring of a random street urchin. She was the product of in vitro fertilization. Paid for by a highly secretive government project to have nameless children, ones that no one would miss. All the parents that were stupid or desperate enough to take the organization's deal would be cared for for 9 months, and then disposed of when their children were born. The children were disposed of as well if they were deemed too weak. But when the doctors tried to tattoo her birth number on her head, the needle broke. This apparently impressed the doctors present enough to change the plan. Columbia was chosen as the primary one to be watched, to be trained up.
[span] 001 was told she was special, and because of that she was given special treatment. Her life seemed to be hell regardless. The only thing she could see as "special" was that they apparently let her keep a present her birth mother had intended for her, a stuffed pink rabbit. Her earliest memories were simply of incredible pain. Seeing how much the seemingly invulnerable girl could truly withstand. Locked inside of an oven to see if her skin would blister or burn. Shot at to see if the bullets would scratch her. Dropped from ledges to see if she'd survive. She was not viewed as a child, but as a crash test dummy for whatever sickening experiment the scientists thought up next. All of this just to see what they could do to her without hurting her.[/span]
[span] [/span]001 didn't fully know how to keep track of the years, but in what she was told was the 12th year of the trial program, the true trials seemed to begin. Other test subjects locked in a room with her. Promised freedom if they could simply scratch her. At first Columbia tried to plead with them, to get them to stand down and maybe they could both survive. Eventually, she stopped trying. Every time she left that room, she seemed to be covered in more and more blood. Getting more and more vicious with every fight. By the time she was 16 she seemed to actually enjoy the carnage. It was at least always met with praise, with better food. She grew to desire that praise more than she wanted the friendship of her fellow subjects.

[span] It was after those four years of trials that she was shown to the American public. Given a name, a history: Columbia Washington was born in middle-america. The daughter of a US Marine Veteran father, with a nurse for a mother. She was a simple farm girl, homeschooled from birth, completely unaware of her great power. Until she was 14 years old, when a group of criminals would ransack her family farm, looking to rob them. Her father would try to fight back and the vagrants would open fire on the whole family. Killing Columbia's mother and father, and discovering the girls invulnerability in the process. Columbia would kill the robbers, but be left without a mother or father. Afterwards Columbia would join the JROTC to hopefully represent her country just like her father had. Until the US Government would take notice of the girls spirit and pluck her from obscurity.
[span] This was the story fed to the public, and to the majority in government who were kept out of the loop of this experiment. A story that the girl now dubbed Columbia was more than happy to pretend was hers. It allowed her to escape her past, and to receive the sympathy and praise of millions around the country. The Ultimate Girl Scout was an American Hear-throb. Talk shows, magazine covers, cereal and lunch boxes, her face was placed on all of them. The Agency even staged some heroics for her. She would stop a bank robbery, stop a run-away train, hold up an apartment buildings foundation as those inside fled the crumbling building.
[span] Columbia would spend her next few years as a public icon, and more importantly to the agency that created her, a brilliant advertisement for the American Spirit. It was this decision that lead them to have her apply to the prestigious UAU. An American Icon would travel to Japan both to learn, and to advocate. An understanding of the concept of soft power, that Columbia's presence in Japan would be an expansion of the cultural reach of the country, was seen as a boon. As well as giving the younger hero more training before putting her in real danger.[/span][/span][/span]

Columbia's body is not made the same way that other people's are. In the simplest of terms, the atomic particles that make up her body are more tightly packed than that of other people's. Because of this, her body is made of more stuff in the same amount of space. This is most evidently shown in her weight, where despite her small size she is hundreds of pounds. This is because her bones, muscles, tendons, etc. are 25x denser than normal humans. This has given her the incredible [b]STRENGTH[/b] and [b]DURABILITY[/b] she has. Every muscle she has has thousands of more muscle fibers, making her muscles more efficient at lifting. She can lift her own bodyweight hundreds of times over. She is bulletproof to your standard firearms and her entire body is tougher than average.
[b]QUIRK DRAWBACKS:
[/b][span] [/span]Because of the way Columbia's body is made, in the event that she is injured in some way, most medical equipment can't do the surgery necessary to help heal her. If she suffers from an injury, she in many instances has to hope that her body can heal itself. Columbia also can't swim. Her body is too dense to float on any liquid, she would simply sink. And since she still needs oxygen to live she would quickly drown. This incredible density and weight also effects her speed. Maxing her at [b]D- Speed[/b]. She can not increase her speed any further through natural means.
[span] [/span]Columbia also still needs to eat food to survive, but because of the nature of what her body is she has an incredibly high daily calorie intake just to maintain her body, let alone to continue growing muscle. She has to consume nearly 200 thousand calories a day, or around 100 times the average intake for a healthy adult male. This is because her body has an incredibly high metabolic rate, requiring this daily intake to avoid pain and exhaustion.

She is well trained in this fighting style, able to effectively take down, disarm, and incapacitate even multiple opponents at once. However, Columbia's ego has caused her to phone in a lot of her training, leaving her far less trained than many other combatants.

For Phase 1 it's broken up into two parts: Prompts and Dynamic Open Threads! These 'Dynamic Open Threads' will have a unique gimmick where you (yes, you!), the player, can drop in and drop out of these threads and move between them as you see fit! It's semi-moderated in that every once in a while, we’ll throw in some obstacles that won't be the big mod posts you might be used to in the other events we've had so far. For example, “New Nomu entered, this Nomu can fire ice from its back.” We'll then let the rest of the participants take it from there! Whenever someone leaves a thread to join another or vice versa, we'll update the [master list found here!] to show where everyone is at a given time. We’ll also chime in (we being the staff team) with posts that are simple and to the point e.g., ‘Retsu has left Thread 1 and Moved to Thread 2.’ ‘Kei and Masao have joined Thread 1, ’ etc., etc. The intention behind this is to have drop-in/drop-out threads where (because they're open) people can jump in whenever they need to support others, like using tactics or sending people with favorable matchups against opponents and vice versa. Hopefully, it'll provide a unique experience where the raid feels like an actual raid/war and not just isolated pockets where you fight/have an objective independent of everyone else participating. In the Western Wing of Takamagahara
Steeled for battle, what awaited the combatants that arrived in Takamagahara's Western Wing was... Serenity and beauty. A peaceful zen garden where it was so quiet that one could hear the gentle sound of rushing water and a low, harmonious hum that seemed to originate from the spores that hung in the air.
At first glance, out of all the areas in Takamagahara, nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary. No guards, no Nomu, no people. Just natur-...did the tree blink? For the exceptionally discerning individuals, the bushes, rocks, and trees all had eyes, and some had small heads, with more than a few having more than one. There was another sound mixed in with all the ambient ones - breathing.
All around them and these creatures, these Nomu, had one thing in common: they were all desperately trying to breathe. As your group crossed the threshold to get deeper into the garden, something stirs and a dozen of those breathing rocks stir as they rise up to nearly 10 feet tall.
 "Liberate them." In the Eastern Wing of Takamagahara
A complete architectural shift occurs for those who choose to head East upon arriving at Takamagahara: the area in front of you has a raised gate with a moat with guards both in front of the gate and on top of the ramparts blocking the area. Upon closer inspection, there's something...off about these guards.
Anyone with a keen eye would discover these humanoid knights are not human; they're Nomu! The three at the front take the opportunity to charge forward with their blades. A loud booming voice comes in from behind the gate. "Unleash your blades! Set them ablaze! Freeze them! Melt them with your venom!" The three exterior guards did just that as their weapons turned red, blue, and green.
While the ground forces were set upon the ragtag group that dared to challenge them, archers from above would rain down arrows of the same properties on anyone unlucky enough not to have cover, who would find themselves riddled with arrows.
Still, this perhaps wasn't as scary as what lurked behind the gate. The flames and roars made it clear that whatever behind was awaiting those who managed to make it through would soon learn why the gates were closed...

Kikurage is a person who keeps to herself more often than not. She almost feels like her own sensibilities lag behind the modern trends themselves by several years to decades, always finding herself late to what was popular or a trend. Due to her own inherited asocial tendencies, she found herself drifting towards social activities and hobbies that one can very much enjoy on their own ranging from books to movies to video games; with the one main exception being anything related to pets of any shape and size. Kikurage does her best to hide it with dark humor, but there's just something 'off' about her thought processes that seem a little detached from humanity itself. Regardless, Kikurage is able to compartmentalize and stifle her own personal desires in order to accomplish what needs to be done of the task ahead of her.

Kikurage is a slender young woman who doesn't seem to have an ounce of muscle on her body. She has natural red eyes and hair, thanks in part due to her quirk mixing the genes for hair color with skin irritation. Though despite the irritant color, her hair is rather smooth after a wash but gets quite oily and easily tangled if left unwashed for at least six or more hours. Pale skin is noted across her entire body, though her finger tips adorn a more reddish-pinkish hue compared to the rest of her body. Her fingernails aren't well manicured, rather looking like they go through different cycles of regrowth and damage caused by chewing her own nails.

Kikurage grew up in Suburban Japan in a single-parent household, with only her own mother present within her own life. The father had been long gone from her life until she was in her final years of primary school, having picked her up from a day at school unbeknownst to the Mother. He introduced himself as a hero, and apologized for his lack of presence within her life and wanted to be in her life from that point on. Despite protests from the mother, Kikurage started to build a new relationship with her father over the next year. She had grown rather interested in the world of heroics, even ditching school a couple times to join him during some of his own hero work. This sadly ended in tragedy for young Kikurage after it was revealed to her by her own mother that he lost his life, crushing the young girl's spirit and enthusiasm on the spot.
Having gained a new light in her life and almost immediately losing it, she became quite detached from society as a whole. She rarely attended school, only attending as much as she could to advance to the next grade. While there she tended to herself and became quite a recluse, either using her free time to go see movies or read stories. Picking up a gardening hobby thanks to her own mother's interests, but the pain was still fresh in her heart. Her father brought a unique light to her life, and it was forever marred by his own death.
Just as she was graduating high school did she learn the truth of the matter, which had been hidden by her own Mother and revealed due to said Mother going into a drunken stupor and revealing the truth in guilt. Her father didn't die quietly nor did he die by a villain's hand. Rather, he seemed to have gotten in the crossfire of another hero fighting a villain, with his death having been brushed under the rug as a mere accident. To Kikurage it was doubtful that it was an accident, however she couldn't conclusively state as to whether this was a malicious ending of a rival hero in some sort of political movement to advance own's own heroic popularity, just as much as there wasn't enough evidence to conclude that this was purely an accident. Yet, this doubt was what drove her into yet another depressive cycle as she took some years away from school.
Having moved out and living as a hermit when she wasn't working a normal 9 to 5, Kikurage just mulled and started working out what exactly she wanted to do with the knowledge she had gotten from one of her mother's drunken tantrums. Having learned that her own Mother had taken an under the table bribe to keep quiet about the situation and help perpetuate this fabricated story, there was almost no lead to how to approach finding this scandal. However, after living quite aimlessly for several years, she found the heart to pursue her target through the only lead she had. The person who took her mother's life was supposedly a UA University alumni, as the agreement to which the Mother signed to receive the bribe was made on stationary used in UA University . That didn't really narrow down the list of subjects, as that could have been anyone to have graduated that university in the last century. Nor did that necessarily implicate UA University as being culpable, as anyone attending the university could forge the document on paper swiped at the University.
But that was the first step she needed to take, and one she would swallow her pride and become a professional hero in order to take the next steps towards finding the truth behind her Father's death.

Kikurage usually carries a phone around her, one that seems several generations out of date. She takes care of this phone well, as well as a journal she uses to write and sketch in to organize her thoughts. Kikurage also carries a packet of disposable face masks that she herself uses and offers to others when needing to use her quirk.

The fungi created can maintain the properties of which that strain of fungus is capable of, and with limited manipulation of the fungal material as long as Kikurage is physically touching the fungus.
[b]QUIRK DRAWBACKS: [/b]While Kikurage is able to create and lightly manipulate the ones she is physically touching, she cannot manipulate mushrooms she herself hasn't created nor ones she did create that are beyond her reach. The fungus she creates are especially susceptible to fire. Due to the spores she creates being linked to her own pores, over-usage of her quirk can cause her pores to block up and create mushroom-induced acne which clogs these pores. The agitation of her quirk-induced acne causes her to become more vulnerable and creating more weaknesses in her own [b]Durability, [/b]reducing it down to D-.
