Judging from her reaction Ylva must be a shy person. It didn’t come as a surprise to her. Given the incident that gotten her transferred to UAU, she assumed that Ylva Riis was a bit antisocial. “That one.” She pointed to a nearby room. “Do you need help with your belongings?” She brushed past the formalities, or lack thereof with this girl. She didn’t know how acquainted Ylva was with the social customs here in Japan so she probably had her reasons. The more pressing matter was getting her settled, and the disparity between her small frame next to all the belongings wasn’t lost on Masao.

“I heard you transferred from Shiketsu, what was it like?” She wasn’t particularly interested but just wanted to make smalltalk. She assumed that if the school wanted to improve Ylva’s social skills they would have paired her with someone less stoic than herself. “As part of our arrangement I will request access to your weekly class schedule. Whenever possible I’ll be present to observe your active training exercises and sparring matches, I trust you will be okay with this?” Not that it really mattered what either of them thought. In the end, the school had the final say. “If you need a tour of the campus let me know. I don’t have time to show you everything, but I can show you the most important points of interest.”

She observed the entire show from the back, her arms crossed as her expression remained neutral throughout. It was fascinating to see how differently students approached this assignment, and it gave her a good idea of who everyone was, especially the first years she wasn't acquainted with yet. The only time her gaze moved from the stage was when Gen started openly mocking everyone. She was still puzzled as to how the school had ever accepted his kind. His open mockery of others, as well as his performance should be a dead giveaway as to the type of person he was. She was tempted to speak out against him too, but she held her tongue out of respect to Zipper. Any further distractions would only derail the whole event and that was the last thing she wanted.

As with many of the others, she was impressed with Kupo's display, particularly his athletic skills, although it didn't show on her face at all. Once he walked backstage she finally moved from her spot for the first time since the introductions began. Before taking the stage she stopped to acknowledge the Search & Rescue Hero. ''Great performance, Snow Fox.'' There was the vaguest hint of a smile on her face, but she didn't linger for long. It was her turn after all.

Walking out with confidence she held her head high as she took center stage. She was wearing rather plain clothes. No fancy getup and certainly no signature hero costume. Closing her eyes, she let her quirk do the heavy lifting. In a bright flash her body, save for her head, was engulfed in a thin coating of white light. Once the light faded in its place Masao had donned a suit of medieval armor, a transformation so fast it was easy to miss. Opening her eyes again she looked out to the crowd. There was a distant coldness to her eyes. She wasn't nervous or fumbling her words, but it seemed more like she wasn't even acknowledging the audience in the first place. ''My name is Paragon. I became a hero student at this school to protect the hearts of the people.'' She extended a hand forward, clenching her fist lightly. ''This suit of armor will help me accomplish just that.'' She organically worked her outstretched arm into a formal bow, before turning and leaving the stage for anyone else to make their entrance.
