She'd lost. Grumbling to herself for the hundredth time today Retsu pushed on deeper into the forest. "Why would they just happen to be right where I don't want them. Kami damned world, every fookin' time. Think they're hot shit cause they lucked out on the damn quirk lottery!"Touching her nose she still felt the pain and the slight unevenness where it had broken. She could even swear she still felt clotting blood run down her throat even though she knew there was no way it was still bleeding after more than a day. Angrily she kicked a branch into the distance while she adjusted the weight of the hefty duffel bag over her shoulder, metallic clangs resounding from the inside as he does. She desperately needed to blow off some steam. That she just happened to have several untested designs laying around was a happy coincidence. The corners of her lips curled up. Maybe she'd even see if she could find the lake that was supposed to be somewhere nearby. Nothing quite like seeing a geyser of water erupt after a fine explosion. That said she didn't feel like waiting until she did. Spotting a rotting stump of a tree about fifteen meters away from her she shifts her duffel bag so she can undo part of the zipper and pulls out a random grenade. She nodded to herself in approval while checking it. Spherical and small enough to be hidden completely from sight when she wrapped her fingers around it the small grenade was filled with birdshot and an explosive payload just big enough to send it flying roughly a dozen meters in all directions. The grenade equivalent of a warning shot. It wouldn't kill and was unlikely to cause more than minor injuries unless it went off while in direct contact with someone or a pellet found its way into one's eye. Even so it was pretty good for forcing people to keep a distance and its size meant she could easily keep half a dozen in one of her pockets should the design prove to work. Pulling the pin out with her teeth she lobbed it accurately into the hole at the center of the stump and waited. She didn't have to wait for long. Rotten wood flew in all directions with a loud bang that sent the surrounding wildlife scattering in all directions. That she was expecting. What she was not expecting however was one particular life form that came into view when she looked around after her explosive went off."What da fook 're you supposed to be?"------

Kakurega Incorporated. On the surface a company focused on food processing and transport boasting not just a large plant by the bay of Tokyo but also several distribution centers spread throughout the city. It was the former that Retsu found herself standing in front of, or more accurately, sneaking towards the side of. Specializing in both the handling of fish fed into the processing plant's hungry maw daily by overnight fishing fleets and the preparation of dough for a wide variety of bakeries, pizza places and other miscellaneous stores, the facility was sizable indeed. Casting a brief glance at the large grain silos next to the left wing of the industrial complex Retsu calculated the potential destruction if she blew one of them up for the fifth time since arriving. Again her mind told her the same. It would cause extreme carnage and while that would certainly put a smile on her face it would also inform her targets not to mention get the city at large involved, something she wanted to avoid. After all, her enemies were much better connected than she was. No, if law enforcement got involved she'd be the one in trouble. They'd likely just back up her quarry and force her to skip town, something she'd prefer to avoid given how many years she spent building up connections in this place. On the note of connections and back-up Retsu checked her phone again to see if Rui had replied yet, holding her hand over the screen to stop its glow from lighting her location up amidst this late night gloom. With a sigh she stuffed it back into her pocket and continued her work. Back-up or not, by the end of the night she'd either have one less enemy or the Akimichi crime family would. For that was who truly owned this factory. Alongside fish the boats brought in various kinds of contraband, from weapon parts and illicit substances to untraceable electronics and more, the Akimichi family used the distribution facilities to smuggle a wide variety of prohibited items into Tokyo. The diversity and scale concerned her, after all, it was highly unlikely they could source all of that by themselves. Whether they were funded by a bigger fish, a foreign organisation or simply got too ambitious and were attempting to expand far faster than they were adequately prepared for however were none of her concern in the end. She'd deal with whatever came her way one day at a time. Finishing the final check on her preparations Bakuretsu stood up and cracked her back with a content groan. The same reason the Akimichi's used this facility was about to become their downfall. Far enough down the bay so as to be almost isolated from society and surrounded by abandoned industrial complexes that hadn't survived the crash of 1992 and had yet to find a new owner even a century later it would take law enforcement more than fifteen minutes to get here. If they were somehow informed of her attack that is. Sound does not carry well here, stopped by the various buildings and sheer distance between the factory and the outside world. "Alright then, let's get this show on the road!"Stepping around the corner and covering her ears she pressed the detonator connected to the square of C4's she'd set up minutes prior, the sharp crack of its detonation and subsequent crash of part of the metallic wall dropping inwards sounding the opening shot of tonight's war. Retsu couldn't help a grin from making its way onto her face as she pulled the pins on a pair of flashbangs and threw them through the hole. The time for thought and speculation was over. Now, it was instinct and reflexes that would carry the day. The corners of her mouth crinkled upwards in delight. She's yet to find anyone that could out react one of her explosives after all.

She nearly pulled out her grenades right then and there when he answered her. Did he somehow know how the injury to her left eye was caused? Her stomach churned. 'Oh,' she thought as her smile turned positively manic. 'He messed up now.'She cracked her neck and she kept a close eye on him, refusing to answer his question and waiting for him to continue instead. When he held up his arm Retsu had to suppress a flinch. The very thought made her anger burned brighter, condense and compress, allowing her focus to come to the fore while her rage simmered just below the surface. Was she intimidated? Afraid? Her? She couldn't allow that. Refused to allow that. Taking in his words while getting her head screwed on straight again she did the first thing she could think of that would allow her to regain control once more. She zipped her duffel bag shut and put it down on the ground. For no matter what this man said or implied, he wasn't a threat to her and keeping her weapons close was unnecessary."Hoh?" She replied while gesturing with her now unencumbered arm to proceed, her wide grin being replaced by a cocky smirk in the process. Her eye narrowed when the drones took to the air and widened once more when they activated in full. As she stepped closer her interest overwhelmed her anger causing it to slowly smolder away. Letting out a hum she began muttering while inspecting the holograms from multiple angles."Indistinguishable from a distance... Cracks show up close... Hmm, combine with motion detectors to determine activation and couple with detachable mines?"
Her mumbling got quieter but no less fast as she continued to examine and theorize for a solid minute before looking back at Facade. "Alright then, Facade, you've got my attention. The name's Bakuretsu but I'm assuming you already knew. So, given that you called me all the way here I'm guessing you've got something in mind?"

Retsu's eye widened when part of the blonde's form turned into strips not unlike bandages. 'Quirk users,' She thought. 'Freaks, every last one of em.' While her opinion didn't change, feeling the pain vanish and her body once more be able to move properly before she knows it she certainly felt a lot more positively about the horned girl.
At the mention of payment Retsu scoffed. The gesture didn't have any heat in it however. In her opinion people that helped others without asking anything for it were either up to something or arrogant pricks looking to feel good about their own superiority. She trusted selfishness way more. "Bakuretsu. Now I'd just love to stay and chat but it seems like someone else needs my attention."She smirked while standing up and patting her new ally on the shoulder. Of course just as she was starting to like her the blonde took three to the chest. She shrugged. 'Ah well.' When Rui didn't even blink at the 'inconvenience' and simply decided to take the weapon for herself Retsu couldn't help but bark out a laugh.
"Y'all reeaaaally fucked up bringing out the guns. Escalating like that? Gloves are off now, kiddos."She called out and pulled the pin on her second frag grenade of the day. Tossing it up and down she watched the two coming her way suddenly slow down. Her grin widened so far it hurt her cheeks. She caught the grenade and tossed it in between them while running, the explosive aimed towards the other two standing further back to take them down before they could cut their boss free. Not missing the moment their eyes followed its path she slapped a knife aside and drove her elbow into its wielder's windpipe. Not even waiting for the man to drop she rushed past and grabbed the second by the shoulder as she went, pulling him with her and spinning around so he ended up between her and the explosion. Not that they were within the pitifully small blast radius these things had but she wasn't taking any more chances today.Making sure she struck again before the ringing in their ears died down she wrangled one arm behind the man's back and used her other one to push him forward. With her improvised meat shield in front of the gun she barreled towards the final obstacle. She flinched briefly at the sound when the impact between him and his boss made the gun go off and add a new piercing to his gut. Even so she didn't let it stop her, waiting for them to drop before she stomped the leader's head into the asphalt. With a wide grin she looked back at her compatriot."Enjoy the show?" Her eyes briefly flicked over each of the fallen attackers in turn to make sure they stayed down before she pulled out her phone. "Think I know where these came from. What d'ya say, wanna score a front row seat when the rest of 'em get evicted from Tokyo?"------

With every word out of the man's mouth Bakiri Retsu hated him just a little more. She'd seen his type before. Even now the prick was looking right past her. Her lips parted into a toothy grin. She knew just how to deal with him. "Nice shoes."Retsu said offhandedly with full confidence he'd look far too deeply into real meaning of her words. She resisted the urge to toss a grenade at him and be done with it, far too little to gain and far too much to lose if she misjudged. She doubted it though. The trick with her phone was intimidation, pure and simple. 'I know where you live, I know how to get to you.' The invite to a far more 'classy' area than the one she lived in? A means to establish rank between them. Like a petty king inviting a delegate to their ornately decorated palace and looking down upon them from atop their gilded throne. She had to stop herself from scoffing. He was even standing in the shadows and further blocking her sight of him with the light flooding from his mask. What he didn't know was that she didn't need to see his body language to read him like an open book. Buttering her up with every other sentence and placing demands and statements she's supposed to take as factual in between, he doesn't even seem to question that this is already a done deal. Like a script being acted out that he already knew the ending of before she even set foot in this place. She had to stop herself from gagging. If he were any more full of himself he'd burst. Unfortunately for him he'd revealed a crack in his facade. Starting the conversation off with praise, asking her to take her hand away from her weapon and then telling her she was doing the right thing? It smelled of fear. In her experience the weak always tried to look strong and the truly strong cared very little for appearing that way. She moved her hand away from the opening of her duffel bag.
He wasn't looking at her, not really. What he saw in front of him was a pawn to be used and discarded. Her grin grew wider. She'd make him look at her."See, there's a lot of times I've been told I should be doing something. Most I've forgotten by now but there's some that stuck, ya know what I'm saying?" She asked rhetorically. "Things like if you're tryna talk to some, tryna sell them on one thing or the other, you should probably introduce yourself first, ya know what I'm saying?"

Taking her mask off Retsu rubbed the bridge of her nose as she put the welder down, the thudding pain combined with the darkness outside letting her know she'd been at it for much longer than she thought she was. Her other hand reached for her phone to check the time. "What the-?!"A string of green characters rolling over a black screen was all she got when she pressed the button on the side. Her eye twitched when a message in the same style appeared, a vein atop her head bulging as she reached into a drawer and pulled out a pen and a notebook. As fast as she can she scribbled the coordinates, date and time down. Once it's all written down she tapped the screen in several places, turned the screen off and on again and finally turned the entire phone off and on again. Her anger certainly didn't diminish when every single option put her right back on to the exact same screen. She half considered bricking the phone and calling it a day but the pain throbbing through her head combined with the audacity of whoever took over her phone caused a single thing to overtake her sense of caution. Spite. She pressed the 'Y' prompt, downed several painkillers and got to work. Checking the time she saw it was 9:47 pm and she had little more than an hour left to get ready and make her way there. "No flash photography, huh? Won't be a picture i'll be shooting anyway."She chuckled to herself while shoving several flash bangs into the pockets of her dark green cargo pants. Then for good measure she put several more into her duffel bag alongside a few other toys including her airsoft rifle. She'll be damned if she's caught unprepared for anything. She tapped her knife several times to check for weak points before putting it back into its sheath and strapping said sheath to her lower back. Finally she put on the gun harness allowing her to put her airsoft pistol under the sleeveless jacket she puts on top to hide both from view. Once she was combat ready she went over her final preparations. For starters she rummaged through a box full of odds and end for almost a full minute before finally finding what she's looking for. A small box full of trackers. Sticking one to her phone she grabbed a second phone and put that one into her pocket as well. Without a further thought she made her way to the closest bus stop and stepped on to the first bus to Akihabara.
"'Scuse me, does this one pass through Shinjuku?"
"I'm afraid not, madam. "Aight, cheers."
While distracting the driver she slipped her phone and accompanying tracker under one of the seats before stepping back off again and making her way home. If she could put a tracker on her phone there's no way someone that hacked into her phone couldn't do the same through the built-in features. She smiled. Let whoever did it go on a wild goose chase, she'll take a different route. Her bike roared beneath her as she pushed it hard, racing through the streets on her way to the meeting. Even though it didn't take her long to arrive the ride calmed her down and bought enough time for the painkillers to work. Checking how late it is on her phone she realized it'd barely been an hour since she first read the message leaving her with just enough time to park her bike, store her helmet and walk the rest of the way there. Once she neared the alleyway she double checked that her duffel bag is unzipped enough that she can withdraw her airsoft rifle should she need it. Purposely approaching the alley from the other direction she'd have arrived from had she taken the bus her eyes narrowed when she saw a lit mask looking right at her. "Yo, heard ya were looking for me?" Retsu said more than asked while hovering her hand over the opening of her duffel bag. "I'm listening."

Of all the responses she could've gotten, hysterical laughter is not the one Retsu had been banking on. Clenching her teeth to bear the pain she kept a close eye on the woman's abnormal reactions. She'd seen types like this before. Smiling and laughing one moment and the next someone's head has a hole in it. She'd rather not suffer a fate like that. Her clenched teeth form into a grin that's more snarl than smile. That answered the question then, didn't it? "Can't say I've thought about it before." Retsu began and let her arm drop again. "Time spend thinking of grim shit like that is better for other things if ya ask me. If I had to say then I guess..."Her upper lip curled in disgust. Normally she wouldn't so much as consider answering Rui's question. She'd have to be a complete and utter fool however to know so little about her surroundings that she wouldn't have heard the rumors. Now that her brain's slowly beginning to put itself back together again she's got a pretty good idea of who exactly's in front of her. The Twilight Witch Doctor. Given her current state refusing that one simple question would be the same as rolling over and letting herself bleed out and that's not the way she intends to go."...not in the slightest!" A manic gleam lit up in her eye and her smile stretched even further. "We're all gonna fookin' die someday. Ain't a single person that's managed to stop that. It's the one damn equalizer in this messed up world. Hero or villain, quirkless or not, rich or poor. End of your life you're going the hell down. Me though?"With the doctor's attention taken up by her gun and the words spilling from her mouth she'd be willing to bet the slow movement of her other arm goes unnoticed. With a laugh she pulled a frag grenade out of another pocket and put her thumb in the ring."When my time comes I'm gonna go out with a bang!"------

Retsu's vision swam and her eye refused to focus. Even so she could see a shape getting larger and larger. A concerning sight given that she was laying down and just barely conscious enough to figure out that meant something -or someone- was either falling or dropping down close to her. Either way, she'd bet good money on it being a problem. 'Move.'Yet no matter how much she urged her bruised and battered body it refused to respond the way she wanted it to. Muted and distorted she realizes something's making noise. Someone? Someone. Eventually the sound made its way through the fog in her head and regained meaning, morphing into words she could just barely make out amidst the ringing in her ears as the shape drew closer and closer. Far too slowly for her liking Retsu's sight finally regained a modicum of its usefulness and she did not like what she saw. Robes like that, horns on top of her head and an entirely unfitting smile lighting up her face. Yeah, she thought. No way that could be good. Her mind raced -albeit walked might have been a better way of putting it with how much difficulty she was having putting even a single coherent thought together- as she considered her options. Whoever's approaching is bound to be one of those quirk tossing loonies. Outfit's a dead give-away. The horns are what give her pause however hoping she's wrong. Then again there's no way some random punks could get one of them to come after her, right? She clicked her tongue. This whole affair stank. Seeing the interloper's tattooed face up close Retsu realized the time for thinking was over and that she'd have to improvise. She let out a hoarse groan to clear her throat. "Death? Argh, before that, d'ya got a light?" Clenching and unclenching her fingers to regain control of her arm she reached into a longer pocket halfway down her thigh and motioned as if to take out a pack of smokes. Sucking in air through her teeth and ignoring the flash of pain every move sends shooting through her she looked Rui right in the eye."Do I fear death?" She replied with a wide smile as her fingers managed to unclasp the strap inside of her pocket keeping her airsoft pistol secured to her leg. With the same move she rolled her shoulder, drawing the weapon and raising it up so the barrel is mere millimeters from the side of Rui's head. "Do you?"------ Rui Matsui

With a loud thwack followed by a crunch Retsu's fist impacted the first goon's face before any of them even realized she was there."Look, I get it. Apps are unreliable. Map says you're in one place but it turns out you're a few streets over. I ain't gonna blame ya. Just scram and get back to wherever the fook you rat bastards came from."To Retsu's surprise -truly- they didn't end up taking her warning. Really, who'd have thought five gangsters wouldn't take the advice of a single unarmed looking woman. 'Ah well,' she shrugged. Can't win 'em all. With a wide grin she stepped out of an incoming blow's range and promptly socked the off-balance wanna-be boxer in the jaw. The way he folded reminded her of a croissant. Somehow that infuriated her even more."Come now, three on one. Ain't those some unfair odds?" Retsu laughed looking at her remaining opponents. "Shoulda brought at least ten."Despite her confidence the street they were on was a bit too wide for her liking. Something the rival gang members didn't fail to take advantage of. As a knife grazed her shoulder she couldn't help but click her tongue. It always looked so nicely choreographed in fiction. When one faced many they all came one after the other leaving plenty of time to block and counter. Her experience was a bit different. Surrounded on three sides, whenever she fended off one opponent another would make use of the opening to hit her. Even though pain was starting to sprout all throughout her body so was something else. Adrenaline. She let out a hoarse breath while shoulder checking one of the three and using the opening to slip through the encirclement. The wet feeling on her back combined with the smug smile of the guy holding the knife let her know she hadn't escaped unscathed."Well, y'all are a bit better than I thought. Congratu-fookin-lations. That ain't good for y'all."With that she drew her combat knife from its sheath on her lower back and used the ring to spin it into a forward grip. Seeing the trio suddenly being a lot more cautious she couldn't help but laugh as she jumped back into the fray. A feint thrust towards the first making him step back before she twisted her upper body and slashed at another guy's chest. "Tsk. A bulletproof vest? Really?" Seeing her smile blossom into an open mouthed Cheshire grin the gangsters couldn't help but feel like something's wrong. Unfortunately for them Retsu's not in the mood to give them the time to think. First she rushed at the knife-wielding prick, twisting with his instinctive cut to make sure his weapon doesn't cut all that deep before she rams the back of her own weapon into his windpipe, crushing it and sending him to the ground coughing and sputtering. For the second one she threw her knife into his foot and used the moment his eyes followed the throw's path to punch him in the jaw, promptly knocking him out as well. Staring her final opponent in the eye she pulls a cylindrical object out of one of her pants' pockets.
"D'ya know what this is, big guy?"
"Wha-" "That's right. A concussion grenade. Low yield of course and not nearly as deadly as a fragmentation grenade. Unless..."
With a burst of speed she snapped off the ring, closed in on him, pulled on the collar of his bulletproof vest and shoved the grenade into the gap. "...they're in an enclosed area."
With a grin she wrapped her arms around him and hooked her hands together behind his back, ignoring the flurry of desperate blows he rained down on her head. "Let go you-" Any further complaints are cut off by the explosion, the crack of several of his ribs giving out under the force of the blast barely audible as the two are sent flying in opposite directions. Retsu groaned and decided to refrain from trying to stand back up until her vision stops spinning. "Urgh. Gonna be feeling that one for a while."

Clasping and unclasping the metallic briefcase in her hands Retsu checked the time for the bazillionth time since she got here. That's the part the movies never mention. All the waiting. Fiction always portrays heists and robberies as minutes long action packed scenes full of twists and turns. In Retsu's experience if there's action things have gone drastically off the rails and if your plan goes wrong you're thoroughly screwed. She grinned. Much like Akimichi's about to be. To think he'd not just try to shortchange her on their latest deal but also begin to muscle his way into her turf? Really, a lack of respect is what it is. Her grin widened. A message definitely has to be sent and what d'ya know, an opportunity's already here. Clearly she's not the only one he's pissed off. No way the intel she'd paid the info brokers for would be in her hands this quickly if that were the case. And what a juicy piece of intel it was. Turns out Mr. Akimichi's been transporting contraband through the use of a refrigerated truck supplying some of the local pizza places. No one would think to check a vehicle that transports balls of dough from place to place for valuables after all. Unfortunately for him it'll be Retsu raking in the dough this time. Spotting the 'Tokyo's Rising Rounds' logo on the side of her target she unclasped the metallic briefcase for the last time and waited for it to get closer. Then she holds onto the handle while making a throwing motion with all her force, slamming the half she isn't holding open and sending the spike strip contained within across the breadth of the road. Hearing the signature pops the tires make as they cross over it she pressed the button on the handle to quickly reel the entire thing back in whilst the truck careens off the road and comes to an abrupt halt when it meets a light pole. With that, her timer's started. Shoving the briefcase into the duffel bag by her side she zipped it shut and makes her way towards the stopped vehicle. "Gentleman. I'm afraid you can't park here. Gonna need you to step out of the vehicle and open the back."
To emphasize her words she unzipped part of her sleeveless jacket putting the very realistic looking pistol strapped under it on display. Not that she's planning to use violence -after all, the driver shouldn't be in on any of this- but the unspoken threat does tend to light a fire under anyone's ass. Seeing the fear and hesitation in the man's eyes she slams her fist into the door. "Now!"
Luckily for her that knocked the man out of his daze. She'd hate to have to use her last C4 just to get into a truck. Without another word the driver scrambled out of his cabin and rushed to unlock the back. The moment it happens Retsu pushed the man out of the way and lifted herself onto the flooring. What greeted her was the sight of rectangular plastic boxes stacked by the dozen. "Got it."
Given that it's food contained within, each of the boxes has a stamp on the side with both the production and due dates on them. On one of the boxes however the order of day and month are reversed, a mistake easily justified to inspectors yet very noticeable within the identical rows. With a huff she topples the stacked boxes on top of the one she's looking for revealing its contents. Without delay she promptly shoved the non-doughy contents within her duffel bag and makes her way back out. Her watch tells her it's been less than a minute since she deployed the spikes. "In and out, nice and smooth." Retsu chuckled while drawing her airsoft pistol. "Yeah. No way it's gonna be that easy, ey?"

Retsu has a foul mouth and an explosive temper. When she's not out drinking or having fun she's usually found within her workshop tinkering with one thing or the other. In general there are only two things that get Retsu to be quiet. The first is when she's crafting explosives, the sole activity on which she can stay focused for hours at a time. The second is when she's incredibly angry. While usually boisterous and quick to fire back there's a point where when she's pushed too far her anger turns cold. When Retsu gets to the point of cold anger being in her vicinity can be incredibly dangerous. For while it is rare that she gets to this point she'll aim to remove the cause of her anger with extreme prejudice. For the most part however Retsu does not take things seriously. She maintains a 'live and let live' philosophy for anything that doesn't concern her. When something -or someone- gets in her way she rarely considers them however, simply heading past or around the obstacle in whatever way is the quickest, whether this method is moral or not. Due to her love for explosive and 'when all you have a hammer, everything starts to look like a nail' her problem solving skills are not the most developed. Living in a world where money is what matters and trust is in short supply Retsu maintains a wide variety of surface level relations but has never formed any form of meaningful connection with anyone. Her understanding of the importance of networking and reliability due to her profession makes her a steadfast ally so long as both sides benefit from it but a very uncaring bystander the moment those benefits run out. [attr="class","body"] [attr="class","header2"]APPEARANCE » HEIGHT: 163 cm / 5'4" » WEIGHT: 65 kg / 130 lbs » EYE COLOR: Light Purple » HAIR COLOR: Dark Purple » SKIN COLOR: Tan » FACE CLAIM NAME: Minene Uryuu » FACE CLAIM SERIES: Future Dairy Retsu has waist length dark purple hair and light purple eyes. Standing at a bit over five foot four she's roughly average sized for her age. She has a relatively lean and slightly muscular build to exercise mixed with poor dietary habits. She usually defaults to wearing a tank top or sleeveless shirt and loose fitting drab colored pants with lots of pockets. Over her left eye she wears an eye patch of her own design. Whether this is a practical choice or an aesthetical one is unknown. There is a wide variety of rumors as to why she wears it ranging from damage to her eye, the intent to 'look cool', a backup plan in case she gets caught up in one of her own flash bangs or even that she inherited it from her grandfather. No one's managed to get a straight answer out of her and given that it appears to be a sore subject to her few keep insisting of finding out. She tends to keep a combat knife on her person, hidden when in public and displayed more openly when traversing dangerous areas. [attr="class","body"] [attr="class","header2"]HISTORY Born quirkless to a poor family Retsu never had a bright future laid out before her. Answering mockery with punches she couldn't stand the 'little pricks' using their quirks 'by accident' while being beaten down. It was during one such incident she took a blast of light to her left eye leaving it damaged and painful to look through. The constant pain when not using an eyepatch only caused her anger to burn further and before long she fell in with the wrong crowd. By the time she was twelve she already had a reputation as a hot-headed lunatic with the local gangs. The sole reason she was allowed to stick around was that she had a knack for fixing things: broken tools, electronics or situations alike. Her true love however laid in explosives. Fixing electronics through trial and error had more than once caused them to explode and Retsu delighted greatly in figuring out how to maximize the effect. Much like her passion so too did her temper grow more and more explosive. The more she dealt with petty gangsters and thugs the more she became consumed by the violent nature of her profession. Seeing similar power structures all around executed at both large and small scales she grew to strongly dislike all forms of authority other than her own, viewing them as little more than threats of violence or harm to keep her cowed and in line. With examples all around it she slowly became better and better at using her own skills to get her way. It was only after a fight gone wrong when she was fourteen years old that she realized just how good at it she'd become. Having been left for dead in a ditch it'd taken her hours to crawl out and reach a hideout where she'd spend days recovering before daring to leave. When she finally got home her parents had welcomed her back as if she'd just been out for a walk, not even looking away from their work as they did. They were simply too afraid of her to ask where she'd been or risk looking her in the eye. That was the second last time she'd set foot in her family home. The final time was when she'd just turned sixteen and managed to scrounge up enough money to buy her own workshop, slipping in during the night just to get her birth certificate and other papers in case she'd ever need them before leaving once more without her parents ever knowing she was there. Over time part of the local gangs came to rely on her supply and connections. Using this to great effect Retsu took to solidifying her position and eliminating the gangs that stood against her until by the age of 19 she’d established a vast network of customers, prospective allies and collaborators. Operating out of her workshop turned repair shop that she'd named 'Wired' her reach is widening by the day and she is taking ever greater risks to keep the momentum going. On the surface her repair shop is exactly that: a store that repairs, fixes or otherwise modifies appliances, vehicles, tools or other miscellaneous items. While she certainly does do such work it is little more than a front for what really goes on in 'Wired'. For Retsu is a fixer in more ways than one. Supplying people with the weapons they need, using her network of contacts to ensure the right people are in the right places or even taking to the field herself are all things within the realm of possibilities. For the right price, of course.
